Although we had made reservations, we had to wait for a while to get the table. The manager kindly offered us a free appetizer. Ashley W was the server. Maybe she was having a bad day, but the manager should have noticed. When asking her about a drink she said, “I don’t know. I am not a bar tender”. She did go and ask someone eventually, but could have refrained from that comment! She banged each drink glass as she went around the table. When we asked for the bread, she snapped, “you need to order first!”. Again she could have been more polite. She literally threw the dessert menus after we finished dinner. It was especially embarrassing because I had brought my sister-in-law and her husband who own a restaurant and they were appalled. We still tipped her as we don’t know what issues she may be having (and hope it wasn’t because of the people she was serving coz they didn’t look like her), but honestly her attitude was unacceptable. Some dishes were good but some too salty. The chicken Marsala lacked flavor. Not going back.

Nice family friendly venue. Our seafood pasta was good but luke warm. Not sure what the point is of serving in a skillet when it wasn’t cooked in it. Our Diane sausage dish was also cold, missing peppers, and looked very unappealing. Tasted okay but fine by me if they take it off the menu.

My wife doesn’t want to come back but I’d be willing to give it another try in the future.

Fresh pasta!!! Truly Italian place!!! Great atmosphere!!!! The owner was here and she is Italian. Spoke fluently and is so kind to her staff too. This was my second time here and she is something for other business owners to take note from. Authentic, genuine, and quality over quantity. Impressive. And got to see one of her children working too… love the family vibe and how the passion runs deep in this place. And it shows in the food.

Drink: pictured- Tinta Sangria : this was amazing. I can taste my fav, the grand marnier! Well blended pinot noir and really refreshing. For my second drink I went with a recommended house ciante (sorry for my spelling) and it was very pleasant.

Food: bucitini carbonara -pictured : fresh pasta made daily. And it really was. I added shrimp to mine. I know it’s non traditional but I was curious. Been in a seafood vibe lately. Shrimp cooked to perfection. Great sear. Well seasoned. And pasta cooked delicious. Sauce traditional.

Side: The bread was insanely good. Seriously fresh. I was impressed. Had to peel myself away from devouring it.

Prices worth it. I’ll have to come back for more!!!!

Amazing Italian place for dine in. There pasta’s are damn delicious. They have huge collection wines and they sell their own made wines too. The compliment bread was so warm and fresh that we can’t resist. It came with a dip of olive oil and pesto and was so delicious. The margheritta pizza was good but not a win win when compared with their pastas. I tried their mushroom sauce no meat for cheese raviolis pasta and was so so good. Even I’m having a watery mouth imagine that. Must try it.

I want to start saying that I wanted to like this place. It's hard for me to find an Italian restaurant that I consider even good. So, with all the reviews I'd heard, I was expecting good things.
Seating was easy as we had a reservation. So I do appreciate that. However, our waiter was quirky. Some might appreciate it, but it didn't come across to me as a friendly welcome. When ordering, the menu and the waiter's confirmation didn't match. I appreciate that simple wording he used, but it certainly didn't make it easy as I had to translate it in my head.
I had ordered the veal parmesan. The meal arrived in an appropriate amount of time. The plate was not presented well as it appeared to be merely tossed on. The spaghetti along side had no herbs in it until I arrived at my 4th or 5th bite, so near the bottom, that I tasted what I think was basil. It would have been wonderful to have had that throughout. The spaghetti itself was an odd combination of al dente and overdone. The veal was breaded nicely, but had no noticeable herbs or spicing. So, while it wasn't bad, it just want good.
The waiter, through the meal, continued with his odd, quirky, attitude that felt like he was vaguely annoyed he had to serve us.
All in all, the food was 'meh', the service not welcoming, the atmosphere was just average with no attempt to stand out in any way. Will not be back.

This place was great! Homemade pasta! They bring you warm bread with EVOO and pesto. First serving complimentary. It was a dense, tasty bread. The lasagna was excellent and is served with a LOT of bolognese sauce. It was excellent. The bourbon pecan pie was a bit dry and only average. I wouldn't order that again. Large selection of wine, lovely atmosphere, and great service from friendly servers made for a lovely dining experience.

Terrible service from Ivy. Rude, lazy & careless. Food was honestly awful. She was blatantly rude. Was unable to enjoy myself.

Maybe among the top Italian restaurants in the DMV area. Everything is great and they can adjust the spice level accordingly.

Outstanding service and delicious food. You can immediately tell it's excellent quality from their pasta to amazing pizza to their superb sandwiches. You will not be disappointed. They also have an excellent kids menu, full service bar and a private room that accommodates upto 40 people. We are so glad to have stopped here, highly recommend.
