The chicken is ok but the portions are small and pricey.

That was the smallest chicken sub I’ve ever had in my life. The sub was stuffed with everything but chicken even though I paid for extra meat. barely saw the chicken in the sub and plus it didn’t come with the side of fries which is typical for all the other restaurants of this type and yes, I had to pay extra for a few small pieces of fries. If anyone wants to stay super hungry I highly recommend this place.

This is my 3rd time updating my review here. It's gone from 4 to 1 to 5... Their price jump was a deal breaker years ago. That being said their quality has stayed high and their food has always been tasty. Compare that to the drop in quality and taste with the other Peruvian chicken places in the area. Not fair the other places have such high ratings just because they get more foot traffic. I'd travel a little farther to spend more money for Pollo Peru.Chicken is always tasty and not dry. Sides, especially the yuca and sweet potato fries, are always good. Sauces are also good. It's rare to find a chicken place that does even 2 of 3 three successfully. If you're looking for gigantic portions of bland food, this isn't the place. There are countless chicken places that give tasteless food in overfilled boxes. Yes Pollo peru's prices are higher than those places and you get less food. I prefer to pay for the quality and taste.

Chicken was cooked very nicely. No burned edges and not over salted. Fresh too. Thank you to a nice server who accommodated my request.

Overpriced and ZERO customer service. Not even fresh food, check and re-check your chicken order, they normally messed up and give you less. If you ever called to speak to a manager, there is none.

Paid 16 dollars for 2 smalls pieces of chicken and over dried old yucca. This place used to be a good but they have dropped their standards. Never going

I love the food but this place isnt a one $ restaurant like it shows on Google. I just paid over $10 for yucca. Overall, solid spot, though

Always delicious, consistent quality. The green sauce is amazing. And the plantains as well.Parking: Always plenty of parking.

Not good. Chicken tastes very plain, tasted more like baked chicken with no seasoning. And the white rice, no flavor at all. More like the rice Asian restaurants give you.

We ordered 3x leg and thighs. They send us over cooked food. The chicken was hard. Was bad

What a disappointment! $55 for barely edible food. Threw away most of it. The only thing I ate were the platanes. Dry flavorless chicken, tiny container of rice and beans. Hard fried yuca . I bought for myself and my daughter. Had it delivered. Never again and I don't recommend you to order from pollo peru. They've gotten expensive and their food have gotten below quality.

Walk-in experience: The chicken's nothing special but it's also never bad. There's almost never a line, and there always racks of chickens on the spits. Despite all that, a typical walk-in experience for me is standing in the waiting area for my lunch... for 15 minutes at a time. (I don't get it. It's just a half chicken.) This has been the case the past five times.
