Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

I haven't even begun eating my meal yet, but I am already impressed by this place. The seating area is spotless!!! They take their cleanliness seriously. In addition, the service was great. The staff member who took my order was attentive and professional. Now, for the food. Talk about fresh out of the oven. My chicken came to me piping hot with the juices flowing. I'll definitely come here again.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I placed an online pickup order for a large mashed potato and a regular mashed potato, then went through the drive-thru and placed another order for 4 pieces of chicken with a side of fries and rice & beans.

When I got home, I realized they gave me two orders of fries instead of fries and rice & beans. I didn’t notice until I was already home, so I tried calling the store to fix the issue. No one answered the phone, and when they finally did, I was put on hold and ignored. You could probably tell I was frustrated by my tone, but I wasn’t rude — I was just trying to get my food situation fixed.

I’m sick and just wanted to enjoy my meal, but instead I couldn’t even eat properly, and the staff didn’t want to speak to me at all. Every time I called back, I was either ignored or hung up on.

Terrible customer service. I will never be coming back.

Kindness and respect you don’t find everywhere

I am an older woman, and I truly appreciate being treated with patience and kindness when I go out to eat. During my visit to this Popeyes, every employee treated me with so much respect and care. No one rushed me, and they took the time to listen to my order and answer my questions with a smile.

The young lady at the counter spoke clearly, was very polite, and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. Another employee kindly helped me with my tray, which meant more to me than they probably realized. Small gestures like that make a big difference.

The restaurant was clean, well organized, and calm, which made my experience very pleasant. The food was hot and fresh, but what truly stood out was the way the staff treated me — with dignity, patience, and genuine kindness.

The manager should be very proud of this team. It is not easy to find places where older customers are treated so well. I left feeling happy, respected, and grateful. I will definitely return and recommend this Popeyes to my friends.

Once before I went through the drive thru, and the food seemed like it had been cooked a long time. So I thought it was a once off. Today, I paid a lot of money for 6 wings and a mac and cheese. The chicken was cold! The sauce (sweet and spicy) had no kick. The mac and cheese looked old and overcooked. I don't usually do reviews, but this is way below the way food at this restaurant has been. Is there a new owner?

I’ve been going here for a long time, several years. The manager (owner? I don’t know his position but he seems like an authority figure) Raphael is easily the chillest employee I’ve met in a fast good place. Never had any complaints with the place either. I’ve often come here after school with my family and it hasn’t let me down.

Best Popeyes in Northern Virginia. I go to Popeyes a lot. Don’t be fooled by the negative reviews. It’s just people complaining about the chicken and it will sometimes be like that, but let me tell you why they are number 1 in my list

1. Friendly staff , fast and efficient,
2. They might hook you up, might be an extra piece if a piece not big enough
3. Come around noon and they will give you the best and freshest chicken.
4. They select the biggest portion for you.
