Rubinos has been the best NY style pizza place I've found in the DMV area. In the past 3 months something has fundamentally changed. Their perfectly seasoned and garlicy sauce, their nice thin crust and overall great flavor has now been replaced by doughy, bland sauce and undercooked pizza that I would never order again. The sausage on their all meat pizza tasted as if it had expired. I hope this was just a fluke and return to the great pizza I've known and often recommend to friends and colleagues.

This meal is great, I'm literally typing while eating . Tried out this spot as I'm new to the area. I got a medium pepperoni pizza and a Washington style Philly. Both did not disappoint. I ordered delivery and had no issues at all . I will definitely be trying this place again!

The woman who answered the phone was incredibly rude and hung up on me.I told her I was working and needed a fork to eat. When my coworkers arrived to pick up the meal. He too asked for forks.The same woman was rude and said they ate in the bag. Along with many packets of ketchup.Now we are sitting here with dry French fries. No salt/ketchup.No forks for spaghetti.Do NOT EAT HERE. RUDE

ordered gyro and $80 of Other stuff, picked it up got back home and saw gyro meat was totally burnt. Called in and eventually spoke to manager on phone, she said I personally watch the food before it goes out and there's no way it was as burnt as you say. So she gave me her number and I texted the burnt pics. After that she said ok, they are a little burnt I didn't actually see these go out. But drive back in and I'll give you a gyro. we're busy" 2 trips for one gyro? Nah,'don't order from here if you want a gyro, ZERO quality control

Went in there today with my 5 yr old son while Mommy was shopping in a store close by. I asked for a slice of cheese cut in half for my son and 2 slices for myself. The lady at the register had an attitude and started speaking in an aggressive tone. She had on no mask but I still couldn't understand what she was saying. When I told her to repeat herself she did and I still couldn't understand her. I said to her I'm sorry but I don't understand what you are saying. Then she became even more aggressive. I had my card in my hand ready to pay but once she started to act like that I walked right out with my son. I didn't say anything to her. I won't be coming back.

Rubino's gets a 4 for the pizza, the garlic bread and the zeppoles. The entrees and heroes are really average at best. That said, it is worth it to go here for a pizza, especially if you are dining in,

My company came here for a company lunch and the staff was very gracious and patient with us. The food came out on time and everything was made to order. I had the beef/lamb gyro with a side of garlic knots and it was amazing! The ingredients inside of the gyro was fresh and the garlic knots came out hot and ready.

I have been coming here since the brothers opened this location about 30 years ago! I'm surprised at some of the poor ratings as that has NEVER been my experience or observation. Granted we all have different opinions on what is a great slice of pizza or sub. The staff has always been friendly and attentive. My go-to pizza is their chicken BBQ along with their unique Knuckle sandwich. I worked nearby for years, but now still choose to visit their Herndon location when possible. My wife loves their margherita pizza that nobody else seems to get right if offered at all. Decades in the business speaks for itself as a restaurant IMHO!! Try them again with something different from their menu!! ??

I usually love this pizza place! However the last time I ordered the pizza was cold, there was no sauce and I had asked for light jalapeño and the whole pizza was pretty much covered. Used to be a loyal customer but don't see myself spending money on a pizza from here for a while.
Not a good pizza place at all, much too expensive for the low quality pies. Exciting that it will soon be replaced by a Taco Bamba in the Summer of 2022 ??

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!I have been a resident of Herndon/Reston for the past 7 years and have driven by this place many times over the years. I decided to check out this place today as I always like to give my business to local establishments. I rarely do reviews, but I had to do this one to save others the hassle of wasting their time coming here.When I first walked into the restaurant I noticed none of the staff wearing mask or face coverings of any sort, not that big of a deal but still something that caught my eye. It was the lack of friendliness or politeness of the staff that really turned me off. I stood in front of the register for 2-3 mins before even being acknowledged of my presence. There were 4 Hispanic ladies who were having what seemed to be a heated disunion in Spanish right in front of me without any of the employees bothering to take my order. It was only when they were done did one of the employees decide to take my order and then stop taking my order to finish her discussion with her coworkers.I ordered the Chicken Parm sub, probably the second worst decision I made, walking in the place was my first mistake. The chicken was unbelievably dry! The breading was falling off the chicken because it was sooo dry, the sauce had zero flavor. I had to put oregano on it just to give it some sense of flavor. The fries that came with the sub could not be classified as a side. You get more fires in a small order of fries from McDonalds. The only positive thing that can be said about the sandwich was probably the cheese, then again they most likely put so much on it to mask the flavor that's not there!PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE!

Nice little place about 5 minutes from the Dulles Air and Space Annex. GlWe ordered a large Sicilian and had it in 10 minutes. Friendly staff and clean. Great way to end a day.

I ordered a pizza, steak-n-cheese, and loaded fries for takeout. 1st up, the service was excellent! The servers/workers were courteous and helpful. As for the food, I have mixed reviews. The pizza was phenomenal! It was delicious and the dough and crust were perfect. I was not a fan of the steak-n-cheese. It was alright, but was not flavorful and the cheese sauce was just uhn to me. Made me think, "I've had way better". And the loaded fries were just okay. The fries themselves were good, liked the shallots and bacon and sour cream, but baking the cheese on made the topping fall. So I wasn't a fan. I will definitely be back for the pizza dishes!
