Weird bar seating, it's like little pods that are just awkward with other patrons.

Great place to eat if you’re visiting Virginia I was there for a week and ate it 3 times. It’s a great place to eat. A place to go.

I had the pasta and it was all good. Our kids had the pepperoni flatbread and it was good. Wife had the French dip and was average at best. Service was abrupt and unwelcoming. We have two elementary kids and a toddler and the host was great. Waitress was never friendly, never accommodating, never welcoming. Very disappointed. I don't agree with tipping 20% no matter what so the tip reflected our feelings. Absolutely would not recommend if you have any kids or family. Everyone just made it feel like we were in their way.

We sat at the counter and had a great view of the prep area, pretty neat. All the food, and drinks, were really outstanding. The sauce with the lamb was amazing, I wish I had a jar of it to take home. We got the roasted nuts, that had a very nice heat, fish tacos, crab dip, Buffalo Flatbread, lamb lollipops, and the blue and filet sliders. Everything tasted great, was the right temperature and visually appealing. My cocktail, the dirty deed, was fantastic!! All in all, it was a great meal and we will be back.

It has been a while since I have been here. I'm glad to know they are still on top of things with great food and attentive service. Please put the lobster cone permanently on the menu! Maybe soon they can expand again since it didn't work out in the past!

Restaurantji Recommends
Went in for lunch with some co-workers based on some decent reviews. Place was almost empty, hand full of customers and barely any workers during a time that’s considered by must local restaurant as “rush hour”. Food was mediocre, took almost 40 minutes to get some “extremely dried” pulled pork sliders, bread was difficult to chew on. Tried one of the tacos of one my co-worker’s dish and it tasted just like the typical premade TexMex food. Would not recommend this place and will certainly go to Mission Bbq next door for some decent Bbq lunch next time I’m in the area.

I had a great time at Stone's Cove Kitbar. The food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. The overall experience was positive, and I appreciated that the bathroom was clean. I would definitely recommend it for a satisfying meal.

Service was great. The open kitchen concept is cool. There are a huge number of seats around the center bar. The lunch wasn't anything remarkable. It wasn't bad but it wasn't better than any other regular pub food.
