Who is that guy in the smoking truck in the Reston Park and Ride lot? It's Uncle Fred. I drove by him way too many times before I stopped in and now I can't stay away. I forgive myself for not getting on board sooner. Give Uncle Fred a try. I know you'll be a fan like me.

I meant to review this truck stop a while back but forgot to! It was a great deal for a sandwich and two sides, I can’t remember exactly how much I spent but it wasn’t over $17, it was great and I’m not a huge fan of bbq unless it’s Korean or off the bone😂 Uncle Fred’s is great and always super great customer service every time you come by! Great portions and good sauces, definitely need to get it when I see them there again! I love supporting local/small businesses like this one🫶🏼

The BBQ is the best ever! I had the beef brisket and the chicken! I plan on trying the pork next time. The sides are DELICIOUS!

When the truck is the best part of your restaurant, you might want to get another career. This is a sweet man and he tried but the food is nasty and not seasoned at all. The greens are hard and bland, the ribs are just there. My husband was so mad when I brought this food home. He told me never ever go back here again.

Do your self a favor. Run!!!!!!!

Uncle Fred's is 5-star all the way!. I've ordered BBQ and sides from him for several years for our mineral club holiday party. Everyone raves about the quality of the food and asked where I got it. I proudly tell them about Uncle Fred's. Fred is extremely response to communications. He's very easy to work with. Oder from Fred!

My gf and I recently moved to the area and we're having a hard time finding a good BBQ place. I can officially say the search is over. This was some of the best BBQ I have ever eaten.

One of the best barbarque in the area! Excellent food and preparation from meat to side dishes! Greens and mac are out of this world! Very reasonable price for catering!

Definitely smoked long and slow. But really short on any spices, even salt. Great if you add sauce but he forgot to-go containers the day I stopped.

Really cool people and really delicious food. We were so glad we stopped by. Always drove past them and rolled our windows down to smell the BBQ. Their collard greens….wow probably the best ones I’ve had

This place is not good. I have had it several times, fortunately only had to buy it once. Tasted like lighter fluid when it was cooked enough, couple times was still raw. Don't get there before 1pm, not even 1 minute.

I’ve been plenty of times to Uncle Fred’s in the last few years and have never posted. I can’t imagine why I haven’t. The food is always great! Good portions abundant. Service super. Please try if you haven’t. You will not be disappointed!
