The service was great, the food was delicious, the portion sizes were large. We were traveling through the area. This was a really nice break from fast food. I would recommend The Mason Jar as a place to get a terrific meal.
After a great day in Mt. Airy, we were looking for dinner at a non-chain restaurant that was open later in the evening as we drove north into Virginia. The Mason Jar got great reviews on Trip Advisor, so we headed that way. It was a little difficult to find as it’s in a shopping center, and it looks pretty non-descript from the outside, labeled as a restaurant and sports bar. Inside, it had a nice vibe with a great mural, colorful mason jars everywhere, and pretty fall decorations...
