Tried this for the first time ordered turkey wing platter and fried chicken platter the chicken wings was great the potato salad was good. I was very disappointing with my turkey wings it had rice in it as if it was soup. Not what I expected being new to Hopewell

This food was so good and I knew it was going to be because the owners hospitality was everything!! Everything was freshly cooked and seasoned to the touch!! Real southern soul food with a side of southern hospitality 💜

Good To Me Soul Food truly lives up to its name! The owner, Tonia Bell, along with her staff, were friendly, welcoming, and personable. I ordered the Whiting meal, and it did not disappoint. The fish was battered and fried to absolute perfection—crispy on the outside while still tender and flaky on the inside. The mashed potatoes had the perfect texture—smooth, creamy, and comforting. The green beans were also very well seasoned and full of flavor.
