Great location and very welcoming atmosphere. Portion of food was small and a bit pricey.
Sold out not there anymore
1st time visit for our anniversary dinner and we enjoyed the live music but the scenery was our favorite.

Restaurant is now called the Salty Siren and has always been a great waterside location! Atmosphere and staff are welcoming and friendly; the food, plentiful and delicious - we had the crab dip app, oyster po'boy and chicken pasta.. YUMMM! Will definitely return - especially when they finish the bar area downstairs and are able to have outside music when it's warm again 😁
Fabulous

HOLY MACKEREL IS GONE UP ! ! ! KAH-PUT ! ! HISTORY ! !
now the building is being changed into a seafood restaurant, which is something that Hopewell has not really had in a long long time.
the energetic lady who is already running Longstreet's Deli and Old Towne's Alibi in Sycamore Street, Petersburg, has gotten this venue changed over to The Salty Siren. she learned a thing or two about food at Dance's Sporting Goods breakfast & lunch grill in Southpark Boulevard of Colonial Heights, and I will be joining a good friend from Henrico at this establishment in a few hours to give it a try-out, and see if she has gone to Trifecta-ville in restaurant management.
So, will somebody there in charge of public relations, PLEASE wipe out the Holy Mackerel reviews and give The Salty Siren a good, fresh, clean-slate head-start. Then I can tell people all about the new menu and the food & service that should be consistently good and possibly great. Which will bring people from all up and down the James River, perhaps even The Northern Neck, to enjoy the beautiful Sunsets, and hopefully, good food.

There was no vegetarian dish for one of the guest. The Mac and cheese wasn't good. The crab dip was very good. The service was great.

Loved the VIEW & waitress Krystal H. was very good, however today at lunch on a Friday, food was just OK. Not worth the prices charged, all 5 of us felt that way. Hopefully when new owners make their changes food will be improved!

We stopped in with another couple to tryout the seafood. Was not disappointed. Wifey even got a birthday meal. Definitely going back.

A pleasant surprise tried on a whim as we drove by. It will be interesting to see what the coming new management will bring about in changes.

I should have read the reviews. The wait time to be seated was fast, but it ended there. Horrible service and horrendous food! My crab cakes were overly breaded with little to no crab meat. My alcoholic beverage: I can not make this up! The bartender put a sugar packet in my old-fashioned!! 😂 Our waitress was great, friendly, and experienced, but I’d give this place no stars if I could.
