I understand making changes because of Covid but the Omni Homestead has used it as a crutch and an excuse because they are not investing in their infrastructure (place is falling apart). Golfing at the Cascades is always and event and it is disappointing we can no longer sit down for a salad and drink afterward. So tired of all their "to go" options.
The food we received here was good, but I thought it odd that they did not have enough desserts to feed our whole group, even though we had pre-ordered. Hearing it announced, "Does anyone want to share there cheesecake, as we need 12 and we only have 11. Or we have vanilla ice cream" kind of put a damper on the experience. The building is historic, and interesting, though, and the staff was pleasant.
