my all time favorite vineyard! Everyone is so friendly and professional, and they are so good to me and my kids each time we come. The whole place is beautiful and I will always be a member!
The servers do not know anything about wines. They were just reciting what's on the menu which we can all read. Service was terrible and the pours were like three tablespoons per kind. The wines are not that special at all. Save your $20 per person on tasting and buy a bottle of wine you like at Costco.
We always stop here while driving through the country and have previously enjoyed the place and the wines. However, this past time was really unfortunate. While the charcuterie remains nice, the wine pours for the $20+ tasting per person were so little it was hard to tell what we were tasting. The wait staff could care less that we were there and they weren't even crowded at the time. I'd think twice before going back again.
Rappahannock Cellars' wine has really improved over the last ten years or so. I definitely enjoyed their stainless steel chardonnay (called VS Chardonnay) and another of their white wines. The pond around back was very nice and peaceful. They're dog friendly outside. I will return.
We were passing by and decided to stop in and thrilled that we did. Beautiful location with plenty of chairs and shade. Thoroughly enjoyed the Seyval blanc and the Fizzy Rose. Lily was fantastic in spending time to explain details on the wine, winery and the location. We will most certainly stop here again whenever in the area.
Beautiful seating areas, inside and outside. We tried Eighteen, a red blend, and the Chardonnay, along with a Farmer's Platter.
I had never been a big fan of vineyards due to the pompous atmosphere around several others I had been to, but this place is wonderful. I met up with a great group of friends and we had wonderful relaxed time. It was a relaxed environment with amazing staff and I signed up for a membership my first time there. I am definitely looking forward to being back.
Folks, this is as good as it gets!! Gorgeous facility, excellent wines regardless of white, red, sparkling or port, cheese platters and delicious balsamic varieties and warm baguette and the staff is super! Such a wonderful place to spend an afternoon with friends enjoying the many offerings these folks have to offer for your taste buds! You will be so pleased that you came!!
Not many sweet wines but the grounds are nice, wine is good, and people are great!
Awesome staff, great wines, amazing wine club! And today they hosted Cousins Maine Lobster food truck - yum. Went well with their chardonnay and sparkling rose.

My wife and I found Rappahannock Cellars by accident and we’re really glad we did. The folks are exceptionally friendly, the wines are very good (be sure to try the Sparkling Red) and the facilities are beautiful.Makes for a great afternoon!
Great place to relax and drink wine.
Love the members section and all the black label wines! We love the views too!
"Oyster fest" 45 minutes in line annnnd... They're out of oysters. Wine is meh and expensive. Won't be returning
I really don’t need any excuse to check out one of the many Virginia Wineries in the northern Virginia area and I was so excited when an organized tour was put together to visit the winery. This was my first time checking out establishment in Huntly, VA. The unique aspect about this establishment that they distill spirits and process wine on site. So literally they covered both sides of the playing field when it comes to the adult beverage arena. The highlight during my wine tasting was the 2018 Port. The red dessert wine was full bodied and sweet.
