Every visit here is a total delight- especially as we slowly embrace Fall in the valley! From the beautiful scenery and friendly staff to the delicious wine and fun array of local goods to shop inside…a trip to RC is unmatched. Thanks for all you do to make every visit a beautiful one!
Maybe it’s because I’m from a different state. But a place serving food and drink, but not having running water is a big health concern to me. With signs on the restrooms saying to “do not use” and talking to the staff, (who were incredibly nice) apparently they’re well pump has not worked today. Definitely concerning to me the lack of cleanliness here.
Place is awesome!
Great outdoor space. Cute indoor tasting area with 6 high tops and space for bar tastings. Tried 2 items from sparkling list, enjoyed the sparkling rose.
We paid $20 plus tax ($84.24) for flights that were test tubes of wine that TOGETHER added up to not even a GLASS…total rip off.
Lots of great choices, you'll find something you like at a very reasonable price.
my all time favorite vineyard! Everyone is so friendly and professional, and they are so good to me and my kids each time we come. The whole place is beautiful and I will always be a member!
Wonderful location, beautiful land !
Distillery manager was wonderful, but service in the wine tasting room could be better.
Visited with a group of six. The distillery room is small but very accommodating. The bartenders are knowledgable and really enjoy a friendly chat! Loved the aged gin. I'm a gin drinker, and this was not like anything I've tried before. On the winery side, we were lucky to have Sheritage lead our tasting. So much fun, and everything we tried was elegant, friendly, and so easy to drink. Thanks for a great experience!!
We just came happen to drive by this location after visiting Shenandoah National Park. The winery was just cozy and relaxing, great wine, nice place to have a glass of wine. I recommend this place for a nice relaxing time.

Community driven, woman-owned and women-run, gorgeous property, fantastic wine. Can’t say enough good things - this is a magical place!
Always enjoy our visit to Rappahannock Cellars, and today was no exception for our group of 6. Crystal was fabulous! She's knowledgeable, playful, and so very helpful. Give them a try. Great wines. Sandwiches and cheeses. Huge comfy rooms to please all and even special accommodations for Club Members.
Crystal was a treat. She made the experience fun and full of laughter. The wines were excellent. We purchased a VX2, Chardonnay, and the eighteen. All of the wines were excellent. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
The property is lovely and the wines are good, too. There's just a few complaints.
They welcome dogs outside but you have to go inside to get service on the porch. That's difficult if you are alone with a pet. I did notice that people with small dogs are welcome in the tasting room.
Once I got service, it was friendly and quick. I ordered a wine and olive oil tasting. Other issues arose. The wines were in tiny test tubes and barely contained enough wine to properly taste. The olive oils were unusual and tasty. But for the cost, the baguette should have been much larger.
I did like one of the wines enough to purchase a bottle but I again had to sneak in to get service.
The VX2 is my favorite white. They are one of the few wineries open during the weekdays out here.
