“Alright so let me start by saying that this restaurant was a bit farther out of the way than I usually drive for a dinner, but I had been recommended the place so figured why not.

From the greeting, to the table setting, to the professionalism exemplified by all of the staff, I knew we were in for a treat. Colin, Maria, Cece, and another gentleman with longer hair who's name I didn't get all served us and it was all wonderful. Colin spoke with us the most, and was so knowledgeable about the place, you can tell he loves working there. The chef came to meet us, and he also was very kind.

The menu rotates so it's not a guarantee that you'll have what I had, but the brown butter old fashioned, the limoncello, the strawberry lemon torte, and the chilled tomato soup all stuck out to me as stellar.

We will be back, worth the splurge price point for sure.”

“Not only is Royal Zaika the best Indian food around, it’s my favorite restaurant of all time. The food is always delicious and fresh and the staff goes above and beyond to provide top notch service every time. They offer a wide menu and there really are no wrong choices, but I can’t recommend the chicken curry enough. This is my go to for special events and regular weekday dinners (and their takeout is always fast, too). If you’re on the fence, definitely make the stop here and enjoy!”

“We went for lunch on a sunny Saturday. All that was available outside was a table without an umbrella, which we took. But when an umbrella table opened up we were switched. Just one example of the superb service. Both the curry chicken and pulled pork were excellent. Best Pommes Frites ever. Beautiful setting. And dog friendly outside!”

“I came to celebrate my birthday with a group of seven friends. We originally had a reservation for six people and I added an additional two, in a seprate online reservation. I called ahead to let them know we were running late. We were told it was okay and they would still be able to accommodate us. When we arrived my party was at two separate tables. One table was for two and the other was for six. I asked the waitress if it was possible to move the two guest to our table of six. She said "no" and I said "okay, I understand." Then the general manger Ken Gray came over yelling at my me and my table of guests. He aggressively told me that they can't do that, however, it was unnecessary because it was already understood and accepted. We enjoyed our $800 tasting until, Ken Gray came back again, aggressively telling us that we needed to get up because the next party was there. I proceeded to get up to go outside and he came back again after I left yelling at my guests. I felt discriminated against and definitely did not feel welcomed at Crimson Lane Vineyards as an African American woman. I was extremely disappointed in Ken Gray's aggressive behavior. It put a damper on my birthday celebration!”

“I live in Little Washington and I dine here frequently. My experience up until this point has been mostly good. I had only wished that they had a slightly larger selection of food and my personal taste does not love probably 60% of what they have to offer - I do not like mixing sweet and savory. Today I ordered take out which I do frequently. I picked up my order and went home only to find that $30 worth of ice cream was missing. I called and went back to pick the ice cream. I stood in the entry way for several minutes while the bartender spoke with other guests before he handed me the ice cream. I got home and the caramel topping was missing… not the end of the world, but I feel like that’s a major part of their $15 butter pecan ice cream. Thought about driving back again to get it, but at this point 3 trips just to get what I paid for right doesn’t seem worth the effort. Probably won’t order for pick up again. Maybe they should not offer pickup because they always seem a little flustered when I order to take home.”

“I had a salad and a personal meat lover's pizza. From the time I entered the restaurant until I paid my check and left I received excellent and friendly service. The salad was fresh and delicious. The pizza was outstanding, among the very best that I have ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant ro anyone that appreciates good Italian food at reasonable prices and with excellent personal service.”

“Children welcomed INSIDE and cherished here!! We loved this winery! There were 8 adults and our 3 month old grandson. We were welcomed and felt at home. The wine is delicious and the food was yummy! “I've been going here every month or two for a couple years now. This is the best place in the area for authentic Latin food. Amazing flavors and generous portions for an outstanding price. It's a struggle to find great, affordable restaurants anymore, but this is one of them. I highly recommend the yuca fritas! I confirmed with the server that the fried green tomato sandwich was vegan by swapping in vegan bacon and vegan mayo, and this sandwich was slammin.
