“We went for lunch on a sunny Saturday. All that was available outside was a table without an umbrella, which we took. But when an umbrella table opened up we were switched. Just one example of the superb service. Both the curry chicken and pulled pork were excellent. Best Pommes Frites ever. Beautiful setting. And dog friendly outside!”

“I live in Little Washington and I dine here frequently. My experience up until this point has been mostly good. I had only wished that they had a slightly larger selection of food and my personal taste does not love probably 60% of what they have to offer - I do not like mixing sweet and savory. Today I ordered take out which I do frequently. I picked up my order and went home only to find that $30 worth of ice cream was missing. I called and went back to pick the ice cream. I stood in the entry way for several minutes while the bartender spoke with other guests before he handed me the ice cream. I got home and the caramel topping was missing… not the end of the world, but I feel like that’s a major part of their $15 butter pecan ice cream. Thought about driving back again to get it, but at this point 3 trips just to get what I paid for right doesn’t seem worth the effort. Probably won’t order for pick up again. Maybe they should not offer pickup because they always seem a little flustered when I order to take home.”

“Cheapest beer in the airport and about the only place you will find a table during the busy afternoon hours. Pro Tip: pay for a cheaper domestic beer and tell the tap person you got an IPA. The two operations are completely separate and they don't check receipts. (Disclosure: I have not done this).”

“Incredible service from this Virgin Clubhouse. Maintenance of their standards of course, but above and beyond specifically with the Maryland crabcake special and wonderful attentive service from Angelica.

I notice a few of the reviews here talk about the daytime service unrelated to Virgin Atlantic and SkyTeam flights and it's not to be compared to the true Virgin experience provided by the team after 6pm.

“Maybe the most unique brewery experience you have can have in VA. From the outside, the facility may not look like much, but they’re focused on good beer. They brew using both spontaneous fermentation and native yeast methods to produce unique beers, both tart lambics and more classic style lagers. These are complimented by gorgeous views of the Shenandoah region and exceptional food from Sumac prepared and served on site. Both Sumac and Pen Druid are constantly updating their offerings, so no two experiences will be the same. Can’t wait to go back.”
