I've been there many times! The food is always excellent -crispy, juicy fried chicken, authentic homemade Italian pasta, and yummy in-house desserts. Staff is always friendly and courteous creating a neighborly atmosphere. It's always a treat seeing what they are planning next. Will be back often!
A fun and family-friendly restaurant that serves awesome food! I’m still dreaming about my lunch … I love the farm to table approach also and the community aspect. If you’re coming from DC this is the perfect stop. If I lived in the area I’d be here every week!!

We ended up at the Black Twig by happenstance. We were expecting a lowbrow burger and wings joint when we saw the ketchup and mustard bottles on the outside tables.
