The atmosphere was beautiful and created a great first impression. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the setting. We waited over 30 minutes for a table even though the restaurant wasn't at full capacity. After being seated, it took another 20 minutes just to receive our drinks. The food was also disappointing—very overpriced for the quality, and it lacked flavor. Overall, the experience didn't live up to the restaurant's ambiance. But check...
Sachelle and Faith were awesome. I’m from Houston Texas and this is my first time here and Sachelle offered the tomato pie to me and I was going to pick something else but I’m so glad I went by her recommendation. The food was absolutely on point and being a really good cook myself I can say I would recommend this place to anybody that is in Sperryville. They were both wonderful attentive and I love this place. Hats off the the chef!!!
High-quality food on the way to/from Shenandoah NP! Everything is cooked-to-order so be prepared to relax and enjoy the ambiance of this converted elementary school. The desserts are a do-not-miss. My server, Faith, was attentive, cheerful, and gave great advice (see note above about dessert, specifically the peaches-and-cream. Next time I’m through Sperryville, I’m coming back.
