Pizza Restaurants near Independence

“We stopped here to eat on our way back home from visiting a friend. I’m no pizza expert, I just wanted something good to eat before we hit the road and we were told this would be a good place to go. Small town pizza place…I wasn’t sure what to expect.

Well I’ll be damn, that was some good pizza! And they make their own crust on site, which also made me happy. You wouldn’t expect to have to include that in a pizza restaurant review, but unfortunately many places are not doing that anymore.

The service was really good too. Just great people who were genuinely happy with their job (which in my opinion, also says a lot about the character of the management/ownership, too).

We’re up here a few times a year now, definitely on my list of places to eat in the area. Thank you so much!“
