Usually only good places do this. Let me tell you… to pay $50 for the entire meal we were served would have been robbery in and of itself the food was that bad.
When we arrived they told us we had 2 hours to eat bc the table was reserved for 745pm. Hi, if it takes us more than 2 hours to eat that’s bc you’re too slow— just saying.
Today is my birthday and this place is the worst meal I have had in a very long time. Everything was bland. The bread basket was even terrible. The zucchini frites I knew would be awful the moment she sat them down. They looked about as appetizing as McDonald’s nuggets and tasted even worse. 0 flavor, way too much breading and even the sauce was bland. My husband had pow pow shrimp he said they we fine, nothing special.
My husband and I both ordered the ribs (first mistake was ordering the same thing) neither of us ate more than a few bites— my husband said hands down top 5 worst ribs he’s ever had in his life. He actually spit a bite out quietly in his napkin. I had a side of bbq with mine and the vinegar base tasted like it was legitimately bad.
The waitress highly recommended the pizza so we ordered one for the kids and I had hoped it would actually be good since we didn’t eat the ribs— it was not. No flavor at all. My kids barely ate the 1 piece each I cut up for them. It was the only thing we took to go solely bc I was worried the kids would be hungry later.
My husband ordered a glass of wine and when he didn’t drink any of it I asked if he was feeling ok and he said it was “terrible.”
My husband is way too nice. He refuses to ever tell a restaurant the food is bad, he just says thanks, tips well and leaves, but it was a complete waste of money and I am very disappointed.
I would absolutely never return or recommend The Office Bistro. Truly Applebees would have been a better birthday dinner. What a way to end the day…

The pizza at the Bistro is an excellent artisan pizza with a hand thrown crust. We tried both the pepperoni and the mushroom pizzas. The Shrimp Fra Diavolo was also a table favorite with our group as well as the cobb salad! We will be back again!

I have been here many times and always love everything about it. The service is stellar. Atmosphere is upscale but comfortable. Food is always awesome! Menu changes seasonally. Never had something bad on this menu. Kids love the pizza. We had the burger and cheesesteak last night. Both delicious. Desserts are good too. Try the carrot cake and you won't be disappointed with the size of flavors. New patio adds a nice option to be able to sit inside or outside.
We loved this restaurant!! Appetizers, meals, and drinks are all delicious 😋. The service was excellent 😊 (Thank you, Tashima.). I recommend the prosciutto peach flat bread.

We appreciate that the Office Bistro is always consistent with its food offerings and its service. The menu offers a variety of meal options across a reasonable price range. It had been several months since our last visit so we were pleased to see and enjoy the additional seating area. My wife and I were the only ones dining, and the hostess was sensitive to place us away from some larger groups with small children. Our cocktails were excellent, and the bar had the brands of spirits we like. Our server was quite personable and attentive. There are other dining options in the Lancaster County area, but this is one of the few that offers an up-to-date setting and sophisticated menu. Also, it's a great place for lunch!

Food was exceptional as usual. Seemed like they were short on wait staff we were there on 7/1/25 during lunch time. Waitress did an ok job, but never wrote anything down and had to come back to the table multiple times to confirm drink and food order. Also one of the drinks had the wrong requested alcohol. on

Carolyn the bartender was incredible! Her service was the best we've had in all of Northern Neck. The food was fantastic. Wine list was above average. We will definitely return!

Meh. The service was slow, albeit polite. Drinks and apps came out as expected, but then we were told by the waitress that it was going to be “a while” for our entrees because they were so busy. The table that was seated 15-20 minutes after us received their entrees 5 minutes before ours came out (same entrees). The special (salmon and crab cake) and the shrimp with grits had a lovely presentation but were absolutely drenched with salt. The burger was fine. The apps were fine. The entrees were almost inedible due to the salt. The table that was seated after us and served before us also told the waitress how salty their meals were and were not charged. We have dined here well over a dozen times and we are hoping that this was just a one off.
Beautifully remodeled with contemporary decor. Service was superb but food was average to slightly above average. The Thai noodle bowl was dry, lacking any broth. The broiled Brussels sprouts with balsamic Demi was delicious.

This was our first time and as soon as we were seated all of us said we needed to come back! We enjoyed the most delicious dinner with outstanding service. The menu offers fun and varied choices; the four of us each selected a different entree: beef tenderloins, ribeye, salmon and Ahi tuna. The tuna was incredibly yummy and I highly recommend, as are all the entrees. The atmosphere is friendly; service is excellent; and the menu enjoyable for all. Well done!
