Overall, a good experience. Very loud but a crowded Saturday night. Drinks weren't served before the meal that was frustrating but they ended out being comped. Local place we love so we'll definitely be back. This was likely an exception.

This place is precious. At one time it was a dentist office and they've kept little nuances of the old dentist office there. Food is amazing, service is great. I highly recommend the espresso martinis. Worth trying

I love the office. Their new remodel is fabulous. Our server was super. The food I selected, though, was really not very good. I had steamed dumplings and they were dried out. Then I had the French onion soup. The soup was yummy but croutons and the selection of cheese didn't add to the dish. Swiss cheese and a slice of French bread would have made it much more authentic.

We had a 5:30 reservation as a party of 4. We ordered bang bang shrimp and oysters. Both were good. But it went downhill from there. My wife had the Apple Pear Salad and although it was good it had barely enough pear slices to call it Apple Pear Salad. I had the Shrimp and grits, I always order these to try the different ways people fix them. Personally I didn't care for them at all. The shrimp were way over cooked. And, almost too salty to eat. 2 stars at best. My wife had the Salmon and it was also overcooked and dry. Service was slow considering we were the second table seated. I'm sure our food sat under the warming lamp cooking away while we waited. We didn't ask for replacement meals because we had already been there an hour and didn't want to wait another hour for food. My nephew had the steak and cheese sub which was good he said but not worth 20 dollars. His wife had the Thai Chicken Curry, she said it was good but could of used more sauce. I posted this review on yelp and the manager commented on it, defending the food and saying that we could of asked for refires or replacement. We would of, had we not already been sitting there over an hour and the second table seated. Plus he said that they didn't have enough ripe pears,so they were skimping on the pears to stretch them out. Why not, just explain that they are out of pears after preparing what they have properly. He asked that we give them another chance, but I called and left a message to let them know why we didn't ask for a refire or replacement meals and left my number. He never called, so I have no interest in going back. Instead of defending the food in a comment, he should of said, contact me because I would like to know exactly what happened. We were at a restaurant a couple days ago and I pointed out that they had salmon and my wife said that after her last experience with salmon she wasn't going to get it. 2 days later she got it at another place and was reassured it could be done right.

Our evening at the Bistro was extremely enjoyable! The appetizers were tasty and served quickly. Our entrees were outstanding and very reasonably priced.
