We found this gem while looking for a lunch stop between Richmond and Danville. First and foremost, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The wait staff was quite busy with several large groups, so Chef Blount actually took care of us himself and made us feel right at home. I highly recommend the sweet potato fries and my husband was a big fan of the pork BBQ sandwich. We were there at lunchtime, but it seems like a fun nightlife spot - they were setting up for Friday...
Met Chef BB immediately after walking in. Greeted us nicely and told us to sit where we would like. During our stay and meal he checked in on us a few times making small talk and jokes. Waitress was very nice and our table of 4 order was brought out in a timely manner. Food was very good for a bar and grill. Nothing fancy but that’s just as fine. We certainly recommend this place to any other people passing through like we did.
My husband and I both had the Father’s Day special today, ribeye, catfish and two sides. Everything was cooked perfectly! The steaks were tender and juicy…didn’t even need steak sauce, the seasoning was enough. The catfish was fried to perfection! Love the breading they use!
