I'm still in shock on how the owner of this restaurant treated us today. My mother in law and 6 year old daughter and I were out shopping for the day and thought we would try a deli sandwich. It our first time trying this deli. My mother in law is very particular about the water she drinks and brought in an already opened, half empty bottle of water with her. But no problem, she took the water bottle back out to our car when she was told no drinks were allowed. The Owner would not let it go, was so terribly rude and nasty to us, cussing at us and yelling very loud that she couldn't allow her to bring a bottle of water in. Once we decided to leave she escalated and more profanity. I was more upset she was doing that in front of my daughter who just watched her the whole time she was carrying on. I've never been to a restaurant or seen a business owner treat their customers this way. My daughter had so many questions when we got to the car...Never tried the food and obviously will never go back. Not to mention when we first walked in we thought it was very unclean but we still were going to eat and was hoping for a nice lunch. I noticed on reviews she responds and calls people a liar and disgusting in response to voicing their opinion/experience—only makes her and the business look bad.

Rude staff. We were leaving our vacation rental and decided to stop in for lunch here on our way home. Walking in, it seemed closed, the lights were off and no one was standing at the counter, but the sign said open. There was one customer ahead of me in line who seemed to have been waiting awhile already, and in the back you could see one person in the back kitchen on a phone call, holding up her finger at the customer to wait. Once off the call, the customer ahead of me ordered chicken salad, and the woman working told her she was sold out, and needed to “go to the store” to get some more? That should have been my cue to leave, but we ordered four subs and went outside to wait. Since we were traveling with our four year old niece, we had brought her lunch, as many know toddlers are picky- when we asked for a fork the woman working seemed hesitant to give us one. When our niece started eating, the woman working came outside to tell us it was a violation and that we needed to leave. She then asked if I wanted to cancel our order to which I replied “Yes, we are all traveling together.” And as I was walking out she said “I don’t know why people think they can bring their own food.”The restaurant is right beside a public park with picnic tables…we were all eating outside…I‘ve never had this problem anywhere and I wouldn’t be leaving a review if I hadn’t felt the customer service was so poor.

I was passing by in this town and came across this deli, when I had ordered my food there was hair in my sandwich. I'm sure this place makes great food, but I will never know, because thankfully I saw it before taking the first bite.
