Before seeing the super Christian iconography and weirdly exclusionary “leave” signage, I thought the place was cute but a bit odd. The food was very average for the price and hype. The room was fine

First time user. We stayed at the Red Fox room with a jacuzzi and a closed balcony. The room was surprisingly bigger than I had thought. It’s located above the community gaming room where you can play pool, hook 21, shuffleboard, and chess. We reserve a room online, but we also called to re-confirm our reservation over the phone. We were on hole for a long time so we hang up then called again. I didn’t think much but when we got there, it turned out two ladies (sometimes it’s just one lady) wait tables at their restaurant, answer phones, take reservations, check in or out guests, guide guests to their reserved room! I couldn’t believe how efficient they work despite how much they have to do. They were so professional, super friendly and clearly love what they do. We enjoyed our stay so much, we recommend this place for anyone. If you are a guest, anything on the breakfast menu is complimentary. Make sure you order Bloody Mary as their staff (especially Stacy) makes it so well! The avocado toast was the best I had ever had, and frittata was so nice and fluffy. Even if you don’t stay there, it’s definitely a great place to dine.

A Birthday Celebration to Remember! We chose Kilmarnock Inn for my husband's birthday dinner, excited for a memorable evening with great food and warm ambiance. The experience did not disappoint!

First, the service was impeccable—attentive yet never intrusive. The atmosphere was small and cozy. POTUS Platter: 8ozfilet. Cooked to perfection, beautifully seasoned, and incredibly tender, it was everything you'd hope for in a special-occasion meal. Each bite was a delight, paired flawlessly with grilled veggies and with a great glass of wines.

While the prime rib served medium well didn't quite meet the high expectations set by the rest of the meal, the overall quality and experience ensured the evening remained special.

Between the excellent service, fantastic steak, and inviting ambiance, Kilmarnock Inn remains a great choice for a memorable dinner. Looking forward to returning and trying more of their menu!

Very nice bed and breakfast type of inn. They have a few rooms upstairs from the restaurant and several bungalow/cabins behind that building if you need more than one bedroom. We stayed in the Blue Room. Food was good. We ate lunch there and breakfast. Breakfast is included in the room price. You can pick whatever you want from the menu. Presidential/DC theme. Nice court yard with a small fountain. The game room was being renovated so I can't comment on it.

Visited friends in town and chose to stay here as we have had breakfast here a few times and have struggled with finding a good hotel to stay at. Rooms included breakfast, which was a benefit, but were on the more expensive side ($200+/night). The rooms looked well maintained and clean, however we struggled with the window A/C unit and the loud dehumidifier in the room to be comfortable our second night. This along with the very firm bed and unbalanced/barely usable ceiling fan made sleeping difficult as we could not cool the room. Your experience may wildly depend on the room you book as there are many different ones, so we just accepted it for what is was due to the hour and hope if we stay here again we'll have a better experience. The grounds and property otherwise very pretty and were on brand with the entire hotel's non-partisan presidential theme, which we loved.

Since we were only here a short time, there was not an opportunity to fix or change rooms (10pm at night, no overnight the lobby/staff with only an after hours number). We checked out after breakfast as the front desk sits within the restaurant. The breakfast is still our favorite part of this place when we're down here and one of the better places to eat.

Rooms: Rooms are furnished and clean, include a large TV and in-room Keurig coffee. Wall mounted A/C and heater, ceiling fan, and a dehumidifier in room (though likely loud and requiring maintenance). Beds are very firm.

Noteworthy details: Full breakfast is included daily at the onsite restaurant and includes anything on the menu

My wife and I were in town for a wedding and spent 3 nights at the inn and couldn't have been more pleased. The staff were all great, the rooms were nice, and the food was outstanding. The location is within walking distance of anything you would want to see and do.

We fined at the restaurant but did not stay at the Inn which is located in a lovely settings, in fact a walk throughout the grounds increased our expectations for the restaurant's experience. The restaurant is nice decorated and we were seated immediately upon our arrival (we had a reservation). Food was mediocre and way to expensive for the quality offered. The presentation of our dishes was disappointing . The crabmeat appetizer was presented as a steak type instead of small balls , it really look weird and not inviting. The main dishes were just food piled up . Drinks were $18 each but served with too much ice. The ice cream was a small scoop served in a old plastic cup. (Child size) for $9. and limoncello dessert was straight from restaurant food supplier. $200 dinner (which included the above plus 1 glass of wine) was not worth it.Food & drinks: Not worth the money.
