This is my kind of place, and all because of a single item on the menu: the lobster roll. The new open-air location is terrific, and came about in mid-2023, after a multi-building fire in its previous Kilmarnock location closed it for more than a year. The community has appreciated the family making a comeback, with a new, fresh start.

Even on a chilly evening it was great! A bit pricey, but where isn't these days. We always prefer to support small businesses as opposed to franchised big restaurants.

Everything was great but the music. The volume & genre would not appeal to anyone over 16. Sorry, otherwise it would have been a nice experience.

Descent food. Not crazy good. Expensive ...one burger , fry (frozen from bag) and 2 drinks was $26 before a tip
Good food, just wish nutritional info was available on the online menu.

What a great place! I had been showing homes outside of Kilmarnock. I was on my way home, driving through the town, and saw Small Town Burger. The outdoor/food truck set up was inviting even on a windy day. The Lobster Roll sign was the final factor to make me turn in. I ordered two Connecticut Rolls and one Maine. After mentioning to the owner that I would be traveling home with these for my husband and son he offered to package the lobster meat separately from the bun so it would be better when I got it home for my guys. What a great suggestion. The amount of lobster meat in these rolls is generous, just enough binder to hold everything together. Delicious!! I sat and waited by the gas fire pit while our food was prepared and imagined a warmer day sometime soon that I could be back with my family and even have my dog with us. Nice place!

Lobster roll way overpriced. Not that great for the price. My husband's burger was good. Fries were great.
