This place was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the staff were excellent. We had the chowder, bang bang shrimp, Cuban sandwich and carrot cake and got more chowder to go. Highly recommend this place!
A hidden gem in Dahlgren. This place was recommended by someone, so I decided to try it for lunch on a Sunday. You know a restaurant is good when it’s packed. The food was well worth the 35 minute wait and the staff were very friendly.
Our grandson makes a point of going to fine restaurants - then ranking them. He only ranked Machodoc Creek Cafe #4 - but that was out of 136 which included multiple Michelin starred places, Ruth Chris, and tons of Chicago's best. He had the rockfish on a salad.
On the other hand, if you find yourself in San Gimignano, he suggests Fattoria di Fugnano.
