Lunch stop on our way to Williamsburg. We shared the Samaya Baji platter appetizer, the Everest Karahi and the Himalayan Naan.
Everything was very good and a nice variety. Slightly different from Indian food we've had before and the lamb and chicken were very moist and tender. The nut and raisin filling in the Naan bread was finer and more baked into the bread which made it easier to eat and subtly sweet. No room for the dessert menu which looked great but their Thai Ice tea filled in nicely. Maybe next time ;)

It is very rare that I give a review. But this place is so exceptional I feel compelled to. The food and service is outstanding. While we enjoy a number of restaurants in this county, this one is our absolute favorite. Also, the prices are very good. It is really worth experiencing if you haven’t yet.

Taste of Himalaya is exactly what King George needed, and we love having this restaurant nearby.
The food is outstanding—consistently fresh, perfectly seasoned, and packed with incredible flavor. On top of the phenomenal meals, the service is excellent. The staff is attentive, welcoming, and genuinely dedicated to providing a great dining experience every single time.
We love this place and want to make absolutely sure it stays here for the long haul. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and try it. We need to support fantastic local spots like this so they never go away.

Loved everything about this place. Probably one of the best things about King George. The food and service were excellent. Grateful for the tamarind and mint sauce suggestion by one of the servers here. I recommend the spinach chaat appetizer. So delicious

This place is a must! We drive by it a lot going from North Carolina to Maryland and decided to give it a try and so glad we did. The staff was very attentive and polite from the moment we walked in. The food was amazing! We ordered the butter chicken, veggie samosa, garlic naan, and the curry noodle special. It was all incredible! We will definitely be going back for more.

Great restaurant! We went on a Sunday and the owner greeted us and had a conversation at the table. My wife and my song came on and he was accommodating with making sure we had a very good visit. The food was excellent and the service was great! We will definitely come back!

While I was a little hesitant to try for the first time in person, it was Great. I had ordered delivery multiple times after that and everything was great. Ordered one time and it was not so great, Durga fixed everything. Ordered again and he came though! I recommend this place if you like spice!

Went there for the first time. The restaurant has good seating area, nice and clean. The server was very nice. Food was fresh and good. The server brought the food and then kept on coming back asking if we needed something else or we need drink refill etc. Overall the experience was good and I would highly recommend this place. Food and service both were good and the place is nice as well.

Very peaceful and clean atmosphere. Friendly & helpful staff; most importantly the food is fantastic. I have lived in India & visited there & Nepal several times since then. It’s very nice to find such authentic & good quality food in this area.

Everything is great, even the chicken chow mein.

Truly unique experience in the northern neck region, a gem of a place with amazing, authentic Nepali/Himalayan cuisine worthy of comparison to any fine dining experience. Graceful, competent staff and a warm, inviting atmosphere that temporarily transports you to Kathmandu. A rare and unique dining experience and my favorite restaurant for hundreds of miles.
