Nice destination spot on a sunny day. Large deck on the Potomac. The food is meh with small portion sizes for the price. I've had better at Long John Silvers which is still the low end of the seafood business. Service is a bit slow but not to the point of really annoying. Drinks, appetizers, and maybe a sandwich are probably the better choices. Basically it's a Dive Bar vibe on the water.
My sister, partner, and I came here out of chance, and boy were we so glad we did. We ordered a little bit of everything on the menu and everything was fantastic. The pricing was reasonable for the volume of food that we received, and all of the staff were so friendly. Food came fast, refills were frequent, and overall had a great time. Shoutout to our server Anita who was on top of it all!
My wife and I celebrated our 10-year anniversary at 71Above, and the entire experience was unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special and thoughtfully done. The food was absolutely incredible every dish was perfectly prepared, and we were even surprised with a few compliments from the chef, which made the night feel even more memorable.
