Recent Reviews

Stopped going years ago due to poor food and bad rumors. However, we tried it out as a friend said it has some new employees. I was impressed. We actually received fresh, hot, tasty food! The waffle fries are a bad idea for LJs. I loved the old fries, these hold grease too much. The slaw wasn't gross and was nice this time. The parking lot was clean. Building looked good. Curb is rough on cars as its a big pothole to cross out of the lot, making turning onto the main road...

Haven't eaten here in a long while. Was craving that childhood memory eating with family. So I went with mom yesterday for lunch. It was some of the best tasting fish in a while from LJS. The fish and hushpuppies were extra crunchy and delicious. The staff was so nice, they keep the restaurant clean and service was fast. We will be back.

Not a lot of people like LJS style fish anymore, but if you do this is THEE place! The platter I get is $14, but there is enough for a second meal to take home. Super friendly staff too!
