I came in for an afternoon bite. I was greeted by a server named Samantha. I ordered a hamburger and fried okra. Very pleasant atmosphere, like days of old. They have daily specials, and quick service. There is a private room for groups up to 40 people. There are two areas set up for groups of 12 otherwise tables of 4. What a great place! Real local flavor, skip the chain joints and come here. The menu is broad, they even serve breakfast all day, a tempting idea. We had dinner and could hardly decide between the buffet, or from the many dinner choices, or breakfast. We ended up ordering dinners from the menu. Our food was delivered freshly cooked, and the portions were generous. Looking forward to another visit.
What a great little diner, we were undecisive if we wanted a breakfast meal or lunch and I was glad to see that they offered a salad bar. And the waitress told us that a salad bar had fried chicken and Salisbury steak and things of that sort and also desserts included. What a great little place to stay for an overnight trip.
