Love love love well taken care of and beautiful kitties for adoptio! Kitties saved from kill shelters and rescued from hurricane. Friendly owner and caregiver. Clean cat paradise. Nice way to spend an hour I highly recommend. Don't forget u our drink and cookie!

We were really excited to come to this cafe, we drove an hour and 30 just for it. There was a sign stating “Back in 5” and we were more than willing to wait! Unfortunately we waited 20 to 30 minutes in the downstairs waiting area. We eventually just had to leave which we were really disappointed about.
The cafe looks VERY cute and we wanted to support the business and buy the pins, pens, and other items. However due to there not being an attendant we weren’t able to do anything. We do want to return, hopefully someone will be there for customers at that time. Or possibly a way to alert the attendant when customers do come in, we didn’t want to disturb a break but we did want to support their small business.

My husband and I were looking to burn some time before a dinner reservation and we decided to stop in. Immediately and very warmly greeted. Perfect cup of tea and fresh out of the oven cookie along with the sweetest kitties. Wonderful, unexpected and memorable stop. We’ll be back!!

I had the pleasure of stumbling across this gem yesterday and the timing could not have been any better (I left my laptop in the courthouse and had to drive an hour back to retrieve it). It is adorable, well-maintained, clean and the staff are extremely friendly. Upon entry, you're greeted by the cutest decor (the owner thought of every detail, seriously!) and signage thanking your patronage of a small woman-owned business (go women!!). The cats at Catty Corner Cafe have hit the jackpot and they've done some great work finding 100+ cats their forever homes. I do not live in the area; however, I plan on visiting in the near future and will definitely be making a stop at this cafe again - well worth it!! I've already told several girlfriends, who live closer, to stop by and show this place some love. The lemonade is great too :-) thanks for your hospitality! Best, Raquel
An adopted dog can be the best friend you've ever had. An adopted cat can be the better friend you've never known possible. Compared to other cat lounge services around Northern VA area, Catty Corner Café offers a more intimate interaction environment for you to find a possible best friend you've never had. The owner is a terrific host. And if cats ever become venture capitalists, I'm sure Catty Corner would earn multiple rounds of funding.
It is gratifying to see adult cats at Catty Corner with many rescued from kill shelters perhaps hours or days before the actual act. Some cat lounges typically host kittens which can be a dis-service to older adult cats. The much too common practice of adopting kittens for their cuteness only to be discarded as owners get tired or inconvenienced should be discouraged. Catty Corner hosting adult cats compared to other kitten-filled lounges should be applauded. Besides, adult cats have more personality than kittens.
Having shared my life with cats, Catty Corner feels like a second home. If there is any criticism I could assign, it's that I wish Catty Corner hosted bigger cats since all cats except for one were surprisingly small. There is just a lot more cat to hug for bigger cats. Certainly understand that this could be because of the space available.
If you've read this far in this review, then you'd know that your patronage to Catty Corner is highly encouraged if you're looking for a possible best friend for life.

20 cats to pet for a fee of $18 and includes a cookie, we came interested in adopting a cat, however you can only really see 4.or 5 cats and most of them hare hidding, expect to be charge 18 p/p even if you come with your little one, they will still charge the whole amount, no cookies either... this place is all about money ?

Adorable shop! We enjoyed our visit so much. Worthy cause, wonderful staff - to include the kitties, and the gift shop had really reasonable prices as well. Will definitely go back. Highly recommend a visit. We just parked down at the Pennington Parking lot and walked.
