I came to this place lace because the description showed Mexican cuisine and pictures in the reviews however I was a little disappointed there was no none, it’s strictly American cuisine. We still decide to give it a shot. I tried steak frites and my fiancé got the burger, both items were good and tasty but I do think the food was overpriced, the price of the burger was not disclosed until we got the check and service was average. Server was more concerned about setting tables...
first off, they need to change their google description as they no longer offer regional Mexican fare. Second and worse is they are way overpriced for what they serve. The quality was great, but charging $42 out the door ($32 menu price +20% tip and 10%tax) for 5 shrimp and maybe 1/3 cup of grits is outlandish. Everything else was proportioned (small) and priced (big) accordingly.
Pleasant surprise…a legit menu with quality food in a great location. The team put effort into designing truly tasteful food and well paired drinks. Leaps and bounds above some of the other recently owned establishments. MUST TRY!!!!
