The food was good but didn’t expect everything to get served in to-go cups and bowls when I was dining in.

Really cute place with delicious breakfast food! I especially recommend the cinnamon roll which melted in your mouth with flakey goodness!
Pleasant medium sized restaurant with not many vegan options. The buckwheat pancakes were superb, served hot with delicious Apple compote, vegan butter & maple syrup. Buckwheat pancakes can be heavy, but these were nice & light.
Cute concept and had high hopes for this all female restaurant but it definitely fell short. The egg biscuit contained “egg” that tasted rubbery and it was so boiling hot that by the time you could eat it, the rest of the sandwich was cold. The atmosphere was cute but the place is noisy and loud and the tables are not cleaned in between customers. Multiple empty tables with crumbs on them and had to request for a server to clean. Disappointed and won’t be back.

I love the concept of this women owned cafe where you can get breakfast stuff in the afternoon. They have a creative/unque menu and cute/eclectic shop. Finding places that offer fresh/healthy food to go like this is rare/much needed. The food overall is quite good and fresh tasting most if the time. I like that they have a reward program. The only issue is the inconsistency and seeming lack of organization in getting a simple/full order together efficiently. I understand it takes longer to make fresh/homemade food. It is just that service/food is inconsistent, something has been missing a few times, and (at times) it has taken an excessive amount of time to prepare/have ready, even when not busy. This has happened with online and in person/eating-in ordering. There just seems to be a disconnect in communication/prep. When I have ordered through their app online, it didn't seem to have received or prepared in a timely manner. I really like to support local businesses so I keep hoping the process will improve. There are some young people that work there who seem like they need better training on customer service and proper food handling. Generally I have had good experiences. However, I had a frustrating experience with young man who needs to learn proper/sanitary food handling (washing hands after handing dirty floor mats/cleaning before handling food/not wearing gloves to handle food) and the cashier who just seemed apathetic or didn't know how to handle the situation. There was no one other client and four staff members when I came in to pick up my order which was behind schedule. The sandwich I ordered sat for a while without being finished/bagged. The staff seemed unaware until I said something. Then the food handling was an issue. I ended up with a stale biscuit instead of the sandwich and the Smoothie Bowl didn't look/taste as good as usual.
Vegetarian options: Smoothie bowl is good as are breakfast options.

The food here is pretty delicious and the place is super cute. Can get really busy on Sundays when church lets out. They used to have these amazing strawberry and blueberry muffins they baked in house but they’ve since partnered with a bakery that is pretty good. But not hot muffins right out of the oven good. Love going there.

We had a snickerdoodle and orange cardamom cinnamon roll. The snickerdoodle was perfectly chewy with crisp edges. The cinnamon roll with the orange flavor was very enjoyable.
Hidden gem of a breakfast sandwich. Try this sandwich, you won't be disappointed. Keep it up Cowbell and keep ringing! Ya'll rock!

Don’t go to this place!!! They are a scam. We went on a Mon noon, ordering a grilled cheese, a Philly steak, and a breakfast bowl. It took them 1.5hr to bring out our dishes. The food came out in really small portion. My breakfast bowl did not have sauce, which they said to bring after. They never brought it. There were other people who asked for a refund cause their coffee did not come for an hour.

Terrible service. I waited for over an hour for the cheese sandwich and fries. The food was cold and served in small portions.

Trying to support local businesses I decided to take my mom and my girls to Cowbell Kitchen and it was the worst decision.😭💔
Customer service not the best. I understand they're young but at least learn from Chick-Fil-A staff at least say good morning, welcome or whatever, they just look at people like whatever. 🙄😂
I ordered black coffee and I received coffee with half & half and I told the server but she said something about the machine was broken and black coffee was gonna take a while.
She never apologized, just walked away.
No free refill for coffee during this cold weather at least.
Indoor seating is so small so we had to use the outdoor one.
No highchairs available and the food is expensive.
It hurts me to post this review but there's a lot to improve and next time I rather go to Ihop.
I do want to add that the cashier never offered me the $1 coffee refill, she gave me a full price and I told her to cancel it.
I love supporting the small businesses in my community which is Leesburg but this is the 1st. Time I can definitely say that the price for the food quality you're giving is not worth at all.
We took most of our food home and of course didn't eat the leftover.
You can use the best and high quality ingredients, the healthier ingredients but if you can't use them the right way to cook you're basically wasting those ingredients.
The biscuits were soggy, the pancakes were dry and that's the main reason I said I rather go to Ihop.

Excellent vegan options - particularly the pancakes and the farm bowl. Cute little place with a nice outdoor dining area.

Visited many times, generally positive view of the food, people, and overall experience. We stopped by today, stood at order station for >5 minutes with zero acknowledgement not even a “hello” or “we’ll be right with you” with two employees in the kitchen area who clearly did see us. (We were the only 2 people in-store with no one waiting) another larger group did come in behind us with also no acknowledgement. Us and the whole group that came in behind us ended up just leaving the store as no one helped us, you lost at a minimum of $200 in revenue this morning. Maybe check your in-store cameras to see this, time was roughly 9:05AM.

I really wanted to like this place because I think they do the local dishes and homemade everything very well. And I had a BLT there that was fantastic. However... one of the main reasons we went here was for my friend who is celiac and has a dairy allergy (NOT PREFERENCES) and a lot of their menu items were listed as GF and vegan. We got there at a busy lunch time and had no issues waiting for food made from scratch. My friend tried to order an item that was listed as GF and vegan and mentioned that this was an allergy and not just a food preference. She was told there was no way they could ensure her food wouldn't be cross contaminated and when she then said she couldn't order she was hit with the "no one has ever complained about it before". Yeah I'm sure it's not an issue for people with food PREFERENCES. I think it is very disingenuous to specifically label food as Gf and/or vegan on a menu when it might not be. I've worked in food service for many years if you cannot accommodate alterations of your menu for food allergies I get it, but to specifically market items as GF and vegan to be trendy or something but not actually provide that is disappointing. Leaving this review not to hate but to hopefully warn other people with allergies and alert management to something they could do better.
