I love the atmosphere and the delicous food.
It is all freshly made, so the food comes out slowly, but it's worth the wait and the patio is lovely. If it's too cold or wet there is infoor seating with lovely art and crafts to peruse while you wait.

The food was excellent. I got the breakfast sandwich (bacon/egg/cheese) on cibatta bread. My girlfriend got the BLT. We both got garlic aioli...which kicked the sandwiches up a notch. The service was great too... they are hospitable, kind and attentive. The overall experience was FANTASTIC and we will definitely be going back for breakfast or lunch. Check this place out if you're in downtown Leesburg!

Please fix the water cups!!

The only reason I rated the place 3 stars is because of their hospitality and amenities…. Which were poor. I ordered breakfast for 22$ which was amazingly good!! Butttt the cashier refused to give me a cup for water when I asked even though other people get cups for their coffee. They only had water cones, which were so unpractical while eating because they CANT BE SET DOWN. On top of that the main dinning area is in another building so anytime you want water you have to get up and walk to the other building (I made 3 trips). This made my dining experience very poor for not exactly the cheapest breakfast (16.50$ for a bowl). But on the flip side, the atmosphere and workers in the shop were so kind and the food did taste amazing

suggestions for buyers : bring your own water
Suggestion for owners : maybe replace the cones for small paper cup, or anything as long as I can set it down. Also, maybe put a water dispenser in the eating area as well. 🫶🏻

Cowbell Kitchen is an absolute gem! Everything here is made with love and it shows — You can tell they use local sourced high-quality ingredients, and the results are always incredible. Love the quiche, vegan grilled cheese and the best smoothie bowls! Actually, everything is so yummy. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the vibe inside is warm, cozy, and full of good vibes 🌻 My favorite favorite local spot — five stars all the way! 🌟 Updated from previous review on 2025-10-25

We were extremely disappointed we had visited a nursery who bought scones from cowbell kitchen about 1 month ago they were butterscotch I believe scones so a month later decided to drive down from baltimore we arrived last sat at 9am we wanted to get them warm butterscotch scones
So we ordered, the young girl said oh they are seasonal but she had peach scones in the case and a Strawberry muffin which we ordered one of each went to the car driving away started eating them not only were they stale not warm neither one was good so they were made the day before they were crumbling and

So my advice would be, ask them if they are they hot or warm
Before buying them
A place like this should never serve day old items
Peach and Strawberry should be seasonal not butterscotch
They certainty have
There season's backwards

Matcha latte wasn't even a matcha latte. Food took an hour for basic breakfast. The kitchen was so chaotic no one knew what they were doing. Will not be back for what we paid!

I love this cafe! It’s my favorite place in Leesburg. It has a cute and cozy little outdoor seating courtyard that’s just far away enough from the street noise to feel peaceful. The food is alittle pricey but delicious!

Oh how I love Cowbell Kitchen! The peach basil smoothie bowl makes my southern California soul happy! It's refeshing, delicious, filled with healthy chia and home made nite butter goodness and is sure to make you smile. The ladies who work here are so lovely and clearly take such pride in what they create. Don't forget the chocolate orange scones and the breakfast bowl.
Thanks Cowbell for bringing the good vibes and healthy food to our little town!

I stopped by today and ordered the caprese melt, it was great! The tomato’s were perfectly ripe and the bread was toasted to perfection!

The food exceeded our expectations! My husband was initially hesitant about ordering a philly cheesesteak here, but he absolutely loved it. I highly recommend trying the farm bowl - it was fantastic. This place is definitely worth a visit!

Great little cafe with excellent food tucked away in the north end of downtown Leesburg. They're just behind one of the buildings on King St so watch for the sign.

A Complete Waste of Money - Zero Stars If I Could. I rarely write reviews, but this experience was so disappointing that I feel compelled to warn others. This restaurant is a masterclass in how NOT to run a food establishment. The Drinks Were an Insult
Let’s start with the beverages, which were somehow worse than tap water. The “Day Dream Matcha” - what a joke of a name for what essentially amounted to colored water with ice. Zero matcha flavor, zero sweetness, zero effort. I’ve had better matcha from gas station vending machines. The turmeric latte was equally offensive - bland, watery, and tasting like someone waved a turmeric root in the general direction of lukewarm milk. Even the watermelon juice, which should be impossible to mess up, was completely flavorless. How do you even achieve that level of blandness with fresh fruit?
The Food Was Even Worse. The avocado toast was the final nail in the coffin. Stale, rock-hard bread that could double as a weapon, topped with what can only be described as the saddest, most oxidized brown avocados I’ve ever seen. The presentation looked like it was assembled by someone with their eyes closed. And don’t get me started on the “beetroot dip” - a mysterious pink substance that tasted like absolutely nothing and had the consistency of paste.
The prices they charge for this garbage is criminal. I could have made everything 10 times better at home with ingredients from a convenience store. The lack of care, flavor, and basic food safety standards is astounding.
Save your money, save your time, and save your taste buds. There are plenty of places that actually care about what they serve. This isn’t one of them.
stars (and that’s being generous)

Egg was so spongy, bacon was microwaved, and bread was dry and crumbly. 2 pieces of microwaved bacon will run you $8. Food tastes better with the exact same quality and cheaper going to a fast food joint.
