Dana's Cake Shoppe

I absolutely love Dana’s Cake Shoppe. The owner, Dana, is incredibly kind and helpful, and they have such an amazing variety of desserts (try their cake pops while you’re there). We love this place so much that we even had Dana make the wedding cake for my brother’s wedding and it came out beautiful and delicious.

My family and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year, and we loved the Chocolate Crème pie that we got from the bakery. It was sweet and the perfect dessert after a big Thanksgiving meal; everyone absolutely loved it. Highly recommend trying it!

Dana made our small wedding cake, and mirrored exactly what we wanted. She even let us bring fake flowers for her to decorate it with. The price was incredibly reasonable and it tasted great.

Dana's Cake Shoppe is unmatched in flavor and artistry. Dana delivered the exact cake that I wanted with flavors that the guests raved about for weeks after. We also loved that she has cupcake options so we could provide 5 different cake flavors to the guests. The cupcakes were such a hit that not a single one was left at the end of the night!! We loved the cake so much that we will definitely be going back to the Leesburg storefront often. I was in shock when I saw the cake at the back of our venue. It was so beautiful and SO PERFECT! We are so glad that we ran into Dana at the northern VA wedding expo at EagleBank Arena. Thanks for everything!!

Horrible family business, they all have disgusting attitudes. Dana’s husband was insanely rude I would definitely not recommend coming here.

The color of my cake was a complete misrepresentation. I had ordered green icing, but instead, I received blue, which completely ruined the entire theme of the birthday party. The cake tasted okay, but it’s completely unacceptable for a basic cake that cost $170 to come a completely different color than what was ordered. The bakery did offer us 12 cupcakes as a gesture of goodwill, but I strongly advise you to be extra careful and read the specifications given on the original request.

This is a truly hidden gem 💎 The decor is really aesthetic. The coffee hit the perfect spot. We tried the Latte and chai. I wanted a customised chai for my Dad and Laila was kind enough to suggest an alternative. Laila was working solo but still managed to provide top notch service while keeping a friendly smile and a positive attitude. Will definitely come back to try their cake as we’ve only had the chocolate cake which was great.

Great experience, incredible service and today I'll start by detailing that I started with a coffee, which I found incredibly delicious, then a pistachio cupcake and another Oreo chocolate one, and my daughter and my husband were delighted, then I ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday, which everyone was asking for the address of the place because the cake was a success, we were very satisfied and it definitely became our favorite bakery 💗

I called to see if the bakery could have a cake order ready sooner than their website said. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. When I arrived to pick it up, it was packaged and ready and gorgeous. The staff made sure I knew the storage and serving Instructions before I left. The cupcakes were Deeelish! We had a sampler box so many flavors to try. Each one more and more delicious! Thanks for a great sweet treat!

Cake is way too sweet and butter cream is lumpy with sugar that’s unmelted. Place is pretty and cakes are pretty but doesn’t taste good. Called up the order and lady said it would be ready but it wasn’t when we came.

Dana’s cakes did our wedding cake on January 20, 2024. The cake was absolutely stunning and tasted delicious. Our guests raved about the cake, It was everything that I could have wanted. There was a huge snow storm the day before our wedding so a lot of the roads at my venue (The Goodstone Inn) were very icy and difficult to drive and walk on. They still delivered my cake in perfect condition and on time despite the weather conditions. I can not recommend this bakery enough and am so excited that they will be doing my daughters 1st birthday smash cake this coming November! Thank you Dana & staff!!

The vegan cheesecake was un- edible . It tasted so old the whipped cream was solid like it had been there for ages.

Also tried the cupcakes, the cake part was fine ig but the icing was like salty for some reason? Was also on the more expensive side and we barely touched our dessert, haf to throw it away.
