As a Mexican from California now living in Virginia, finding food that reminds me of home has been rare, but Del Rio hits the spot every single time. My partner and his family first introduced me to this place back in 2020, and it’s been a favorite ever since.
The flavors bring a nostalgic warmth I didn’t expect to find here. The chips and salsa are out of this world (truly the best salsa I’ve ever had), and their lunch buffet is perfect when you’re feeling extra hungry. Every dish I’ve tried has been delicious, comforting, and made with care.
Beyond the food, the staff is always kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. There’s a real sense of dedication here, and you can tell they put love into what they do.
Big shoutout to Del Rio for not only serving great Tex-Mex but also giving me that “taste of home” feeling I didn’t realize I’d been missing. If you’re looking for authentic flavor and a warm dining experience, this is the spot! 🌮❤️

Mozzarella in an enchilada should say enough... It was disgusting. My wife's burrito was genetic and lacked flavor. It was flavorless meat beans and rice rolled up. The food trucks that show up to the construction site are way better, price, and food wise, and they are in a roach coach.
Enough about the assault on my stomach and taste buds.... Or table wasn't level so my children's restlessness was taken out on the table, and the whole atmosphere inside of it was kind of like I was back in Tucson Arizona and the trailer parks with no AC. Couldn't even feel the fan.
Avoid this place like the plagues, especially if you're from the West Coast.

Closest to true Tex-Mex that I’ve tried outside of San Antonio! Very casual place that any Texan will recognize as a typical Mexican restaurant. Great enchiladas, great flavor for their taco meat, and nicely trimmed tacos al carbon (no fat or gristle!) Definitely a true

Nice local option for Mexican comfort food. I miss Mexican often since I lived over 20 years in CA, a lot in the central valley. As a local resident, this is one of the better options. I'm also vegetarian and appreciate all the vegetarian options. Always nice friendly service, plenty of parking and seating. Diverse menu. Had a combination and it hit the spot. Value is OK.
Tasty burritos
one of my favorite spots in leesburg- everything i’ve tried here has been so delicious so i’m making my way down the menu. portions are huge for the price with quality ingredients. Enrique always takes care of me and the service is always 10/10. Definitely recommend!! (make sure you get the skinny marg!)
Del Rio was a real pleasure! Their menu items are fresh, drinks are great and service is outstanding! Giovanni and Enrique took great care of our table! We will be back.
