We sat outside, and it was a nice night for doing that. It was busy, but we had a nice time. We got the chicken wings, which were normal, nothing special. The waitress was new so she wasn’t that great at waitressing yet. All throughout the night people were dropped off on the curb, right at the door, as there’s no parking close by. People brought their dogs. I think that’s the draw for this place is that it’s dog, friendly, inside and out.

The wings here are fantastic—crispy, hot, and perfectly cooked, which is what really counts. While the sauce was delicious, there wasn't much of it. Next time I'll be sure to ask for extra. My son's wings were also great, and he loved the fries, which appeared to be dusted with a light flour coating but may have just been extra crispy.

The service was good. Our server was very attentive and the restaurant was clean.

It's a true taste of home. If you are an upstate NY native, and you are missing the flavors of home, this is the place for you. It's like you're walking into your favorite restaurant from home, and the food absolutely delivers in nostalgic vibes and flavors. Thank you Anchor Bar!
