Great new spot in downtown however when bands play on Saturday nights, it is absolutely so loud you cannot hear anything. Bartenders struggle to hear your orders and you cannot have conversations with others around you. Great to visit when there are no bands but steer clear unless you are up for the noisy vibe. Prices are on the high side but food is great! Staff was mostly helpful and as a 30 year Leesburg/northern Virginia local I would say this is a great spot to hit if you are bar hopping on the weekend. Ambiance could use a tweak. Overall, worth a stop.

The service here was excellent. The bartender told me of her sons accomplishments as I ate a great italian beef sandwich and drank a Bloody Mary for lunch. There was an artist sitting by the window, sketching a building across the road. It was beautiful outside, and though I was only killing time, waiting for a funeral to begin, I felt at home for those few moments. But anyway, do yourself a favor and stop by this establishment. I dont think you will be disappointed. Please excuse the mess of a plate in the picture. I was more hungry than eager to take a picture.

Green Tree Tavern is a bit of a hidden gem in Leesburg. It had a nice refresh in the last couple years, and while the atmosphere leans divey and sports bar-esque, the food is surprisingly gourmet. The specials are always a treat, creative, well-executed, and way more than you'd expect from the casual vibe. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for something laid-back with seriously good eats.

Bartender is hilarious and welcoming and makes great drinks, food is spectacular. It’s a bar and restaurant, but even the typical bar food is levels above what you would get anywhere else. I recommend the Italian beef.

Service was oustanding- such hospitality! We enjoyed food and drinks after a show. They actually reopened the kitchen for us. Was happy to get vegetarian options.

A bar with a serious chef, so much more than fried food. From homemade onion rings, to the beer cheese dipping sauce with the pretzel bites, to a legit sausage oriechette pasta dish. A great new option for downtown Leesburg!

I went into the Tavern because a man from the cafe next door was following me around and kept trying to get me to talk to him. I walked up to the bar, told the bartender, Matt, what was going on, and asked if I could hang out for a bit. He not only let me stay, but asked if I would like some water and asked me for a description of the man. Eventually, the man walked in and asked to sit next to me. Matt got him to sit on the other end of the bar. The man started taking pictures of random people, including me, so Matt asked him what he was doing and made him delete the photos he took of me and the other patrons. The man eventually left. I would have never expected so much help from someone in this situation, and I can't thank Matt enough for the help he provided. Fantastic service overall.

One of the very few places in downtown Leesburg where you can catch a great local band playing on a weekend! The bar was slow and the Long Island ice tea tasted more like a regular ice tea. If you want to catch a good local band like Cowpoke on a Saturday night, then this is one of the very few lively bars to visit in downtown Leesburg.
