I recently visited the Pollo Campero location in Amityville, and I have to say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was top-notch.
The food itself was incredible. The chicken was perfectly cooked - juicy, flavorful, and with that signature crispy skin. Every bite was a burst of deliciousness.
I have to give a special shout-out to Lilian. Her service was outstanding! She was friendly, efficient, and made sure everything was perfect with our meal. She truly went above and beyond to make our dining experience enjoyable.
The service overall was excellent, and the staff was friendly and attentive.
If you're looking for a fantastic meal, excellent service, and a great atmosphere, definitely head to the Pollo Campero in Amityville. Highly recommended!

Came in 2/20/26. Places an order over the phone for pickup. Small order was not ready for 45 minutes. When waiting in the pickup area, you have a clear view of part of the kitchen. Person working salad line never used gloves despite a big sign by his head stating employees must wear gloves. I even understand not wearing gloves if you are washing your hands very regularly. I don’t understand touching the trash can several times, then plating out some cheesecakes with the same bare hands and then plating salads. The entire time I waited, he touched the trash multiple times, touched a lot of food, and washed his hands exactly 0 times. To top it off, when brought up, he starts shouting insults about us in Spanish to the kitchen as if we wouldn’t understand.

We had the most fabulous valentine dinner here as it was our first time. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Our food was so delicious and we loved the Italian music. The drinks and gluten free options were great. My only thing was the portion size was very small. Same for my husband’s meal. Otherwise very good. Thank you for a wonderful night, we can’t wait to come back.

We decided to dine in after loving the food we ordered through DoorDash. The Rigatoni alla Carne is our favorite pasta here, the bruschetta was delicious with perfectly toasted baguette, and the tiramisu was yummy. The service was amazing, we can’t wait to go back and try more of their dishes.

this restaurant is excellent! their food is top notch and the people there are lovely. I actually discovered it getting takeout originally and my folks were looking for an italian restaurant in the area that was yummy and not too expensive. I was so impressed by their takeout that we went to the restaurant. I typically get eggplant or soup or their gnocchi /pasta. my folks usually get their veal and we love it!

Ordered door dash from here. Im Herndon that was $100 bill. I gave them a try but NEVER again. We ordered Alfredo. Wth!!! This is ALL butter. It taste like butter. 😔 my bolognese... also no flavor, just butter 😫 i want my $100 back lol
