I recently visited the newly renovated McDonald’s in Leesburg and wanted to share my thoughts. While the service and food were just fine, I have to say I’m not a fan of the new interior design.
The restaurant has plenty of space overall, but the way they’ve laid things out really limits the seating capacity. It feels like there are fewer places to sit inside, which might be intentional, but it does make it a bit less comfortable if you’re hoping to dine in.
Another thing is that they now rely heavily on ordering kiosks and the mobile app. There’s rarely someone at the counter for traditional ordering, which might be convenient for some, but it’s definitely a change from the old way of doing things. If you prefer ordering face-to-face, you might find it a bit impersonal now.
On the plus side, the drive-thru moves quickly, so no complaints there. Overall, it’s a decent spot, but I do wish the interior design was a bit more seating-friendly.

Just terrible. I visited twice, once last week and again this morning. Both times I ordered the big breakfast w/o hotcakes and no drink... simple right? On both occasions it was 5:10 am and both times nobody was in line. It took 15 mins last week and 15 mins this week....... 15 mins AND they forgot the hash browns. This is why McDonald's is losing traffic. I will not be going back a third time.

This is my first time at this McDonald’s and their taking to long to prepare my order. I am very upset.
They forgot every condiment that I had ordered for my meal. My Sunday was sitting there. Just melting on the side along with the fries are just stuffed in the bag. Like to make it look like there filled to the top for a large as well as the tables were just covered in random liquids and other messes when sitting inside waiting for the order. It's kind of disgusting at that point

I’ve given this McDonald’s multiple chances, but the service is consistently disappointing. Almost every time I place a mobile order for drive-through pickup, I end up waiting at least 5 minutes, and on one occasion it was over 15 minutes, even though the food was ordered ahead.
Most recently, I placed a mobile order for drive-through, but since the line was packed I went inside to ask for the order at the counter. The staff refused to give it to me and made me wait in the long drive-through line anyway. After another 15+ minutes, I finally got my food.
The whole point of mobile ordering is convenience and saving time, but at this location it’s the opposite. The wait times and lack of flexibility are very frustrating.
