I thought the place was amazing! The service was horrible. I don’t know if anyone else had the same experience. We go all the time and this is all ways the thing that gets us with this place. I thought it was a kids place but it does not seem like it. I think it’s such a shame because the place has great food and cutest things.

The shop is located in downtown Leesburg on a very busy 2 lane road. There is street parking but that was full so there really was no parking. I wish this had been explained on the website. My poor 86 year old aunt had to walk 2 blocks with her walker from a garage. Very pretty inside but small & kind of cramped. Atmosphere hectic/noisy. The food was fine but nothing special. The cucumber/cream cheese sandwiches had very little cream cheese. The hash browns needed salt/pepper. The open-faced egg sandwich had a sprig of something on bread with a slice of dry hard boiled egg. Clotted cream was not included with the scone. Staff were very nice & never made us feel rushed. It was a nice one-time experience but I wouldn’t do it again.

So my friends and I had afternoon tea here and the food was delicious, the tea was awesome and the staff seemed pretty nice. It’s our first time going but we enjoyed the experience. The reason why I didn’t give 5 stars was because of the bathroom. They had one bathroom to use, the door didn’t lock, and the one dryer to dry your hands didn’t work but that wasn’t my biggest gripe about it. My biggest pet peeve is going into establishments where I’ll be eating and the bathrooms are not cleaned. This bathroom in this store had definitely not been cleaned recently or if had been cleaned then it wasn’t cleaned very well. It smelled of urine ( very musty) the light is dimmed but you could still see some type of brown stuff on the floor and base boards have yellow sprinkling around some of the boards which I could only assume was urine. Besides that issue it was a cute place to get some sweets.

SOLID 5 stars. Very pretty inside, which I always appreciate in a place. Pistachio hazelnut iced latte was 10/10. Not too sweet and the ice ratio was perfect. My chocolate affogato was excellent. And they have the prettiest macaroons I’ve ever seen. We got the blueberry lemon macaroon and it was nice and big and very good; more lemony which I was hoping for. They also have a bunch of candy for sale. Overall very nice and chill place to sit for dessert.

Loved the afternoon tea experience at Mocatinas! It was quite pricey from what I remember, but worth the one time experience! Besides the tea time, Mocatinas is certainly worth a visit for their icecream and pastries!

My husband and I went there to have Ice cream because we heard they have delicious Ice cream. I asked the employee which I dont know the name but she was oriental for two ice creams each single scoop in cones. She said nothing and put more than one scoop into each cones. When I complained she just said I appoligized and charged us more. We never go back because other than her poor service and being very cold and indifferent, we ended up with more ice cream and more expence. Not a good experience at all.

The coffee is delicious, and the macaroons are as well. I highly recommend it for friends and family reunions who love to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or tea and sweets!

Very cute shop with selections of coffee, tea, pastries, ice cream, etc! The shop is beautifully decorated in pink florals which are sure to make anyone happy! The smores hot chocolate was absolutely delicious and watching the process of it being made was impressive! I arrived at the end of the night and many baked items were sold out, but the macarons were extremely detailed. Staff were friendly and welcoming too! There is also an expansive selection of packaged candy. I look forward to returning and trying new items!

The pink aesthetic is cute and gives off a fun candy shop vibe, but that’s where the positives end. From the moment we walked in, we felt unwelcome. The cashier eyed us up and down, answering simple questions with an unnecessarily nasty attitude. Other staff members whispered among themselves, making comments that seemed to question our race…right in plain sight. To top it off, the food was disappointing, and the complete lack of hospitality made the experience even worse. I am disappointed and won’t be returning.
