A huge shout-out to Mary, one of the managers at the King Street Safeway in Leesburg, VA. I arrived home today only to discover my antique diamond wedding band missing from my finger. Imagine my distress as I called the myriad places I'd been during the day.Safeway had been my last stop, and I when reached Mary by phone, she informed me she had discovered my ring--broken on the floor. It was in safekeeping in her locked drawer. How refreshing to know there are kind and honest people looking out for others! Thank-you again, Mary. You have always impressed me with your exceptional customer service, but this act of generosity touched my heart.

This Safeway has gone so downhill, im surprised they haven't closed the store. I've been coming here for 20 years based on convenience its less than a mile. The products not stocked few employees (this is and was well before covid19). The products including the meat are awful. Steaks are not cut correctly there gristly and total waste of $$. They used to be very good and have a butcher there who could cut whatever you wanted. I'm assuming their union is not very good considering the things I've mentioned. Fix the A.C.! The store is freezing.!

The store is under construction so it's a bit all over the place and they didn't have all the items I needed. That being said, the store is not busy, parking is a breeze as was check out. A huge shout out to the cashier, Renee, who was personable, talkative, and very pleasant to speak with. Safeway is lucky to have her working with them- it is because of her they got 4 stars.

Please explain to me how your signature product would allow this as acceptable quality control? Every since Alberstsons took over Safeway brands that use to be available are gone and quality has gone downhill. Keep your silly monopoly promotions when you can’t even do proper food controls.

I'm sooooooo glad that Albertsons will merge with Safeway. Hopefully the one in Leesburg will be refurbished so it won't stink so bad when you walk into it and hire New Management!!!!! No stars...had to put one just to post :(
