It was amazing good bbq pull apart brisket and pork is cooked right. The sweet bbq sauce hits right with the sweet and tang and the Texas toast I had on my brisket and pork sandwhich hit the spot. Cornbread is best I've had in the area so far. Only other bbq place I'd say could have competition would be the one off rt 50 in aldie and this one even tops that 1 thanks
Parking: Plenty for compact cars or small truck. Wouldn't put a trailer in there but my single cab f250 went in fine. Plenty of parking not too far from it aswell if you have a bigger vehicle

Wheelchair accessibility: Stairs. Unfortunately no unless you got someone with you to assist.
My friends and I always pass by this place and finally made our way in this past Sunday and had a really bad experience with the guy taking orders. It was weird especially because the conversation was nice when my friend was ordering, but it seems this dude was confused. My friend told him he wanted beef ribs, not pork. And when he got the ribs he noticed they didn’t look like beef ribs, and the lady server confirmed it was pork. Naturally my friend went to the cashier to discuss the mistake and this dude totally lost it. Worst of all, his horrible attitude escalated towards him locking us in, turning off the open sign and shoving the tray into my friend insisting that it was my friend who made the mistake. Only after his power trip did he take the food back. Not a welcoming nor customer friendly environment that day whatsoever and this should be known. I don’t see myself visiting this place again, and for the owners sake they really gotta replace this guy, especially considering his episode of locking us in and furthering his little stupid anger spout.

We all went as friends the other day - and we were harassed by the Asian gentleman at the front desk. So this is what happened, I go with my buddies the other day and order beef ribs, repeatedly confirming with the gentleman that it’s BEEF, NOT PORK. I cannot eat PORK.
Anyways, the food is served and I immediately know it’s pork and the gentleman kept saying I ordered the pork. Once it’s obvious that he’s wrong and I double check with my buddies who were witness to this, the nut job goes to the door, locks it, turns off the open sign, and shoves the tray into me and gets in my face saying that I ordered the pork. Folks, that harassment is unacceptable and I’d like for the owners to address this. I’ll never go myself, but they need to get rid of that racist aggressive idiot.

Great atmosphere for sure, every time, all weekend. Really good food but could have a wider variety and maybe a bit more salt honestly. There aren't waiters, it's an order at the counter/ pager system. Which can be nice.

We hosted a private event at Schmidt’s for a welcome party the night before our wedding. Schmidt’s was AWESOME in every way. Stephanie was so helpful from the beginning, and was so easy to communicate with. They proactively invited us out for a tasting to create us four different delicious signature drinks. We had lots of great food out for our guests, and the service was impeccable throughout. The ambiance was great - it was a perfect space for this type of event and a great start to the weekend. Stephanie even took a bunch of photos and videos for us since she knew we’d be too busy to do so! I couldn’t recommend them more highly

BEST sweet potato fries! Crispy outside, fluffy inside. Not even a hint of soggy.Got the wings with the house sauce. Very yummy, on the sweet side, but found myself wiping up sauce with my fries. Next time I'm getting a hotter sauce!Loaded fries, so good. Kids devoured them and so did I.And finally, the perfectly fried pickles. Thin, so they're not too wet, held up nicely til the last one was gone.I will be back, often, I'm sure. There is so much more on the menu I want to try.
If u like BBQ this is not the place to come. It was empty bar one family when we were there and that shld have been a warning sign…our BBQ was inedible, even our dog was not interested. Undercooked, jelly like, terrible and minimal sauce. We left it and left. Not sure if they were having a bad day or winding down for the afternoon, it was 230pm ish but unfortunately it was bad.

The WORST bbq I have ever had. After a few bites I couldn’t even bring myself to eat anymore. A big waste of $18. No flavor, no seasoning and definitely a poor representation of “bbq”. Definitely will not be recommending this foolery to anyone else.
