Absolutely horrible customer service. Manager was rude and this idea of members-only after a certain time is a farce. Pay and you still cannot secure a table after 6pm after you reserve a space for 3 hours. Rude, disrespectful and no clue on customer service. Not to mention wine is sub-par.

Solid experience. Beautiful place and excellent wines.

I have very mixed reviews on Stone Tower. The buildings are gorgeous, and the views are spectacular. We went late afternoon, and were rewarded with a spectacular sunset. However, there were also some spectacular disappointments. First, we pulled into the "Tasting Room" area, but were told to leave because we had our 12 year old son with us. We were told that we had to go over to the original tasting room. We needed to get back in our car and drive 100yds or so down the road to a separate parking lot. We did so, and although the views were amazing, it is more complicated. You have to order food in one spot, tastings are in another. You CANNOT have food at the tasting bar. Our server leading our wine tasting could have been replaced by a much more engaging wet sponge. They have great outdoor seating, but you must make sure you have the right wine glasses if you want to go outside. It's not that they don't want you have glass outside, it's merely they want only one type of glass outside (huh??). Honestly, it's very officious for a winery. Then there were the wines. As with most Virginia wineries, the whites were better than the reds. Of the 6 wines we tasted, the three whites were all good, but the three reds were not. The best of the reds was a Malbec, which were not Stone Tower grapes. The other two reds were grapes they grew/harvested, but they were terrible.

Also, this place is way over priced. Tastings were $25 each and the reds were almost undrinkable. We ended up ordering 2 glasses of white for $17 a piece. Loudoun wineries tend to be on the expensive side, but this place was over the top given the bad service and wine.

Overall, I really wanted to like this place more, and probably would have given it 4 stars if it weren't for the experience . The venue is awesome, but the service and wines are not. There are 30+wineries in Loudoun, for your money and time, there are much better choices.

While the winery is beautiful the attitude of the attendant that did our tasting ruined our experience. She was snippy and acted like we were an inconvenience. We tried to enquire about the wineries history and the wines and were met with nothing but rudeness.

If you want to pay $40 for Tenders and a Sandwich and wait for close to 1 hour for the food while the lady just tells you ‘’we are busy’’ while 20 other people behind us grab their orders, this is the place to come.

The view= perfect
The service= garbage

Amazing view of the grounds. I liked the service and wines offered. The food is terrible. Undercooked and way over salted at any price.

This property is breathtaking! The most beautiful view when you walk in and amazing wines. I did the wine tasting and it was a great experience. Great selection and service. Highly recommend!

They need sweet wines. Great location, gorgeous views, excellent food but they need some sweet wines on the menu that's the only thing lacking.

You cannot beat the view at Stone Tower Winery. I photographed a wedding this August at this venue and it felt like I was transported to the Tuscany countryside.

The staff was a breeze to work with. They were professional and were very helpful anytime I had questions or needed a golf cart ride to the other side of the property.

The hall is decorated in such a way that you can really do any color scheme or style in that room. It is neutral enough while also feeling modern and warm.

If you're looking for the best winery to get married at then look no further. Stone Tower is the place.

We came here for a girl's day and had a grand time!

Hands down, Stone Tower Winery is a beautiful, massive winery with stunning views. So with that, it should be noted to come picture ready!

The experience we had here was definitely a good one! The vibes, the views, the service, and the pizza will easy convince anyone to come back again.

To the food… The pizza options here are fairly unique and tasty. We had the Farmers Market, Sausage & Mushroom, and the Prosciutto & Artichoke, which were all very appetizing. My absolute favorite was the Farmers Market. The toppings just went so well together. We also had the burger with truffle fries. I wasn’t necessarily a fan of the burger since it was lacking in seasoning, however, the truffle fries were fairly good.

To the wine. If you prefer more sweet wine, it may be a tad disappointing, however, the workers here have all the solutions to remedy that potential disappointment. For me, I had no complaints with the rose and the Sauvignon blanc.

This winery is located in the hills.
It’s so beautiful around
A place for all family. They have area for adults and other for whole family

They offer a big variety of wine, some of which they produce there.

They have their own venue.

It’s a lovely place for a date

Their food menu is excellent, a little over price though.

Many good spots to take pics

Delightful winery with beautiful views of the Blue Ridge mountains in the distance. Wine offerings are a little on the expensive side, but well worth it. My wife and I especially appreciate the "over 21 only" section in the second building.

Friends have recommended this winery, and we finally made it there today. Gorgeous property, tasty wines, and tasty nibbles. Some noted that it’s pricey, which is true. However, it is a wonderful day trip in the DC area.
