Small, what appears to be simple, family run, Chinese restaurant. Seems to cater mostly to take out, but we ate there. There is a small, but modest seating area. We ordered two entrees. Both tasted great. One entree would have been enough for both of us, so we had plenty of leftovers. Normal prices. Ours was $32.55 for two entrees and two soft drinks. Very little wait time.

Great Taiwanese spot in Rockville! We really enjoyed the chicken soup and the beef stir fry with sacha sauce—both were flavorful and well-prepared. Portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely a solid choice if you're looking for hearty, authentic Taiwanese food.

Most of the positive reviews are meant for Taipei cafe in Rockville Maryland. Food at this location is mainly american chinese food. Had crispy beef but it was way over fried... More like fried cardboard with tangy sweet syrup over it. Couldn't tell if it was cardboard or anything else.

Horrible restaurant! I ordered General Tsos chicken white meat & they sent me sweet & sour chicken pieces tossed in general tsos sauce. When I called them to say that this was sweet & sour chicken not made like general tsos the rude young lady said oh this is how we’ve been doing it for 20years. This is stealing from your customers when they expect a fish made a certain way & they just take the easy way out by charging you AN EXTRA DOLLAR FOR WHITE MEAT WHEN SWEET & SOUR CHICKEN ALREADY COMES WITH WHITE MEAT!!!! It’s crazy how much they cheat the people in Leesburg…mostly Hispanic people SMH. HORRIBLE PLACE.

We ordered “for here”, but everything was packed… No service at all. Pork and chicken are too far from authentic. Rice is very hard. Noodle soup is too light.

I have been ordering from Taipei Cafe over the last few years. I see that a review that I formerly posted has gotten removed. I think by this shop managing their own orders, they might also have negotiated controlling their own reviews.It used to be that I could consistently rely on quality food and delivery from this location.However, the last two times I have ordered from this location I have gotten very sick: one time terrible stomach problems and the last time with a swollen tongue and food poisoning.If is a shame that the standards for this location have bottomed out to this place. I cannot order from this location anymore.
