I made a reservation here for a small group of 6 to celebrate my birthday. The owner and his wife set us up in the Tiki room for the evening which was perfect. It was a typical, very lively Saturday night in downtown Leesburg and even though they were incredibly busy they were beyond accommodating for me and my group. We had tasty drinks and delicious food. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who would like to host a small gathering of friends. The atmosphere was perfect and the live entertainment was amazing.

Phenomenal experience. Great food and drinks! Super fun entrance via phone booth. Our waitress Tyler was incredible! She helped us create custom mocktails, let us move tables when the live music got a little too loud, and was super attentive & friendly. Truly the cherry on top!

Tarbender's Lounge is a fun speakeasy with a lot to offer. The entrance being a phone booth is a perfect way to accent the fun environment inside. It is a busy place, so I recommend a reservation, though their reservation process on their website could use an upgrade. We arrived to find they had our reservation, but had overlooked it, so we had to wait for them to rearrange some tables. I will say after that, I felt the staff tried to make up for the rough start. Everyone we met was friendly and one of our servers showed me the Tiki room and discussed the history of the business. They also have a karaoke lounge in the front by the entrance. The drinks are great. The menu appears slightly limited, so don't be afraid to order off menu, based on your preferences. We tried several old fashioned. The chili dog is really good...better than I expected. The lobstah mac and cheese really has lobster in it. The prime rib was also delicious.

Tarbenders is an amazing dining experience. The food, environment and the drinks are above par! The chefs cook meat with a melt in your mouth care and every dish comes out with a beautiful array of flavors and are a mind blowing experience! If you have not given their culinary experience a try, do yourself a favor!

Really cool vibe. Excellent drinks. The live jazz trio was classy. And I didn't get the guy's name, but the dude in the NYY and 143 hats wearing the sport coat was outstanding in terms of service, engagement, and just being nice to everyone - seriously, I'm posting a review really because we watched him buzz around the place. We'll be back for sure. The ONLY thing I'd recommend would be a couple of veggie/vegan options on the menu.

As I mentioned in my Yelp review I have attempted to give this “speakeasy” multiple chances. The staff present and past are not fantastic as the owner likes to claim in his response to my yelp review. They ignore you, you have to chase them down for service. When people suggest this place, I literally suggest anywhere else in downtown Leesburg. Oh yea, I work part time in the service industry and have 16+ years experience. Pick anywhere else but here where their staff breaks abc laws by drinking behind the bar and ask you to do lines of drugs in the bathroom.
