Great little spot in Lexington. I had the gumbo which was amazing. Wife had the beef short ribs which also was a hit. Drinks were perfect too.

Wonderful meal-- we had the Short Beef Ribs and Grilled Salmon, and they were delightful and filling. Good portions! This place is a go-to now for us!

We love the Bistro Cafe. Good food, friendly service, great atmosphere! We are so sorry to hear that the restaurant is closing later this year. Lexington will miss this wonderful spot to gather with friends and family. We wish owner Jackie the very best in the future!
I was hoping this cafe would showcase great food but, it was good. Can't say outstanding when I compare to other upscale restaurants in cities with a historic downtown. The service was not as polished as I would have hoped, given the menu prices. Staff should be guided on how to effectively service customers more professionally. The server kept repeatedly placing the plated food hard on the table, but did apapologize. Dessert menu had a balanced selection, and our dessert was delicious.
A real gem of a restaurant along Lexington's main street: friendly and experienced staff; delicious food; agreeable vibe.
Delicious food, wonderful and helpful wait staff and a delightful place to spend an evening
This was our second time eating here. We loved it so much the first time that we brought our son this time. He got the steak, my husband got the chicken and I got the mushroom ravioli. All three were absolutely delicious. The steak was honestly one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. I love mushrooms and so the mushroom ravioli was a real treat. Just delicious and we will definitely be back.

Over priced
A relaxed culinary experience that merits future visits. We enjoyed the frenched chicken breast ... absolutely loaded with flavor. The key lime pie was our dessert choice ... good to share!

Perfect intimate place for a quiet birthday celebration. Priced reasonable with delicious options. Shared pear salad, Brie, and beer bread. Salmon and mushroom ravioli entrees were excellent. Highly recommend.
Very enjoyable! Food quality and portions were excellent and the server very friendly and proficient.
I’ve been to The Bistro a few times now, and every visit is fantastic. The steak frites never disappoints. It’s a cozy spot, perfect for a night out with friends or a quiet dinner. The service is always friendly too

The meals were excellent quality and taste. I had the Salmon spinach and substituted the yellow squash which was wonderful. My husband wanted something light and went for the pasta which he normally never gets but absolutely loved the flavors and fresh combinations! Waitress was hustling and on it!
Great service, variety of menu choices and a wonderful evening. Thanks to the entire team !
