“Cannot overstate how happy I am with this dining experience. My college is in town for a competition at VMI and we kind of randomly decided on Nikos. Having fairly extensive restaurant experience, I knew immediately when I walked in that everything was going to be great here. It is quaint and clean. The staff is friendly and the open kitchen is always a wonderful thing. Just a pro tip for any folks uneducated in the restaurant business...if you can see the kitchen and the kitchen is spotless, your food is going to be delicious no matter what you order. I hope I find myself in Lexington again soon so I can try something else on the menu! Salvador was out server and he was one of the best servers I have had the pleasure of being served by. He is the epitome of what service should be when dining out!”

“A wonderful small business that specializes is truly legendary sandwiches. Portions are great for an "eat now and take for later" sandwich, and the atmosphere is perfect for a meetup for business or pleasure! 10/10”

“I ordered my food for pickup at 3:30 one day and then at 3:40 my school went on lockdown. I called 2 hours later and asked how my order was and they said it was ok. Four hours later, at 7:30, I finally got out of lockdown and called again, thinking the best I could get was a refund. To my surprise they told me they would heat up my food and have it for me to pick up. I’m about to grub and I could not be happier. I LOVE GOLDEN GARDEN, incredible service incredible food.”

“From our first step in guests are welcomed warmly with a big smile!The waitress recommended some amazing dishes and sides, and kept a close eye on my needs during the meal. The brisket was amazing, and portions were perfect. Brisket came with cornbread and honey butter. And the broccoli so well cooked!Our waitress asked about dessert with such a warm smile, it could not be turn down. “What you would expect for small-town, country meals and friendly, fast service. The staff are so attentive, and food is delicious, simple and affordable especially for today. A hidden gem and wonderful place to grab a quick bite as a couple, family or even solo. To be honest, my husband and I are just glad to have a diner in town, as it was desperately needed. Do try the home fries and baked apples! If they adjust to more days open in the future, we would be thrilled and would go even more often! “Never had Tai food before, but this place got me hooked! The staff was super friendly. Ordered to go and they were willing to work with me on my food. Had it done super quick and called me when it was ready. I ate the steam dumpling appetizer and panang curry. Not too spicy, super flavorful. The resteraunt itself was well decorated and looked like a great place to eat out. Definitely coming back!”

“What a super place! Had breakfast. Yummy farm-to-table food. Very friendly staff and service. You can tell they genuinely care about the community and each individual that comes through. Love that it's female owned too! The hearts abound in decor and spirit! Thank you, ladies.”

“This place was really good food, great atmosphere and the employees were awesome so friendly and knowledgeable. However I got so grossed out watching the bustling of the tables. The waitress and waiter does it and the trashcan is in the dining area and the tubs to put dirty dishes in was there also. There is no sink to wash hands at . There was not one person who washed their hands but continued to serve. I did witness 1 waitress use hand sanitizer but did not wash hands then went over and started wrapping up silverware in a napkin to hand out at tables. There was one waiter that had a towel hanging on his waist that he would wipe his hands off but that was it. He went over to help roll up silverware and dropped his rag on the floor picked it up then put it on top of clean silverware and was talking to the waitress then grabbed his rag and wiped off the tray that was holding the silverware and then put it back on his hip. I also observed others coming over to help roll silverware with no one attempt to clean hands at all. I think the whole setup is not sanitary you should move the dirty dishes station in the back and hire someone to bust the tables so the waitress and waiter doesn't touch dirty dishes then serve the food. Or put a wall up so customers in the dining area doesn't see this. A sink in the area would be nice so they can wash their hands.”

“Gina’s is my go to place for when I’m tired after a long day and just want something doordashed to my apartment. 9 times out of 10 I order the same thing (Margherita Pizza) which is excellent, but everything else on the menu is good too that I’ve tried.The few times I’ve been to the restaurant in person the service is very fast and polite and I’ve had zero issues with them.”

“Great service, very nice location and setting. Food selection was very good. Wife enjoyed the Salmon and I liked the NY Strip, despite it being severely undercooked. Requested Medium Well, received Medium Rare. Overall, fair pricing, however the Dessert was good, but overpriced.”
