Wonderful atmosphere and staff. The food was pretty good, but i have a small gripe. The agedashi tofu sauce is NOT of the classic variety. For the chef's sake, I'll include my favorite recipe type. It's one that includes mentsuyu, dashi, mirin, etc and is served warm and poured over the tofu. Also, the tofu should be coated in potato starch ONLY, after being pressed dry. I love that this is a family run restaurant and their sushi holds up with all the other places I've been across the country. They are also incredibly friendly. A great small quiet place for friends.

I didn’t expect I could find an authentic Japanese restaurant in Lexington, so it was a good surprise! We ordered Katsu Curry and Katsu Don. Katsu was thick and fried perfectly. Portion of food is great with the price. I personally like lighter taste, so Katsu Don was little bit salty for me, but it’s still good! Katsu Curry became my son’s favorite dish!!
