Great vibe and pleasant surroundings at this large spacious brew pub! Service was prompt and friendly. Needs a few more healthy selections but food was well prepared and served. Definitely worth a visit if you are traveling on I 81.

The 2 star rating? I had my service dogs with me. I'm an amputee. At first, they wanted me to sit outside in 28° weather! The hostess had to ask her manager. Remember "service dogs" fully blown P.T.S.D. service dogs. I was told I had to be seated "away from everyone else for safety reasons." I was seated was far way from everything WITHOUT being outside. I was also told that my dogs might contaminate the kitchen! 🤣 anyway, the Backbone fries are crazy good with brisket. I had a flight and a pint of West Coast Pale ale. It was all good but nothing special.

We live out of town and try to stop by on our way through. We enjoy the beer and the food is always good when you can get it. On the last 5 times we stopped, we could always order beer but not always food, they were either out of what we wanted or today we were not allowed to order because the kitchen was backed up. They were not even going to seat us for 40 minutes even though half the tables were empty because of the kitchen issues.

The past two times we’ve visited, Laura has taken care of us and it has been the best experience! We were here a little bit ago before the fall leaves came in and I told my fiance, we HAVE to go back to see the Mountain View’s and the trees now that it’s fall and the icing on the cake- Laura was our server, again! Seriously our favorite place in Lexington to get a beer, sit outside, and just enjoy!

Fell in love with their drinks while on a boat. Had no idea they were on the way to the family farm nearly 5 hours away was super stoked to stop in. Great place.

Very cool venue! We sat at the bar for lunch, and although there were only 8ish people at the bar, we were pretty much ignored after we placed our food order. We had 4 in the party, and not all food came out at the same time. The fish tacos and DB burger were hot and good tasting. The ala cart breakfast items were sub-par. (eggs, sausage, bacon, and a hard, burned biscuit) . They also forgot one of the salads and had to be reminded twice to get it for us. (They generously discounted the meal due to the salad issue, and we had not complained) Addionally, it would be nice if there was a mention of the limited menu offering times on the website. Overall, it was a very cool spot.

I've been meaning to come out here for awhile, and the experience did not disappoint. The Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese was different in presentation than I had expected, but it was very good! The greens on top ALMOST tricked me into thinking it was healthy. I liked that they had a Snake bite drink option, and then my flight was good all around, though the Outpost Premium was.... unremarkable compared to the other three?
The only regret I have is I didn't notice their special burger for Friday until after I had ordered. So if you're planning to go on Friday, be sure to ask what their special burger is!

Steak and fries were very good, but pricey for what you get (2 beers and dinner $34 plus tip) Their Octoberfest beer was just OK, and I'd def prefer Sam Adams.
