Our server was amazing. He greeted us energetically at the door. He was working incredibly hard. He recommended the fish and chips, and it was amazing.

We visited on 7/13/25. Quickly seated and we had our drinks within 5 minutes. The lady working the bar was our waitress and she was excellent. I got the Little Italy sub and it was packed with meat and the bread was so soft the macaroni salad was delicious. The Mrs. got the Bacon and Egg Burger and fries She loved it. The draft beer was poured perfect and just the right temp and it was happy hour prices. We also got the Cinnamon Bun sensation with ice cream. It was very good. The House was built in 1820 and was beautiful. We will be back Thanks so much.

This place has a large menu, I really liked all of the sandwich options, I had the Bonnie and Clyde which is a roast beef sandwich on a Kaiser roll with coleslaw, melted cheddar and bbq sauce and a side of onion rings. It was all delicious. The bar has nice drink options and the location is right downtown. Service was quick and friendly.

My chicken parm wasn’t hot.The chicken parm was watery it had no flavor it was just tomatoes not really a sauce.very historic building but the banasters were gross and the carpet on the stairs were filthy! We had a wonderful waitress so that was nice.

We used to go to the location in Roanoke 20 years ago. Great spot! Order the hurricane! Great customer service and made a few friends while sitting at the bar.

I ordered a chicken salad sandwich off of door Dash and I used to love the chicken salad but it was nothing but garlic. Totally disgusting. Who puts garlic in chicken salad. Ugh 😑

The food was decent and the service was good but the place is filthy dirty. From the floors to the handrails and restrooms, this place is in serious need of a thorough scrubbing from top to bottom.

The food was good, but the servers went over and above! I have no idea what was going on, but the entire place was packed with college kids. They still were able to seat me quickly, get me a beer, and took my food order. The food arrived quickly. The hostess made this happen. Thanks!
Great food, went with a small group of friends. We got the wings and they were great, only negative was the food took quite a while to come out

We walked in and told the host that we had a party of 7 adults along with 5 children ...the woman brought us to a table and just left us with only 5 chairs to figure it out...we go back to the front and let the lady know that we don't have enough chairs in which she tells me you will have to wait and immediately turns her back ignoring us to help other guests coming in to be seated....The service/staff was extremely unhelpful, we all were very disappointed with how we were treated, we will never attempt to return!

Went with 2 10 year old boys after visiting Natural Bridge. They were busy but or server was very efficient. The boys ate off the children menu which was good and plenty. We both had sandwiches which were good. The place was loud but not too bad. Good experience.

A wonderful small town bar! We had the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer and I had the gourmet hot dog as an entree. High marks for both! A wonderful small town bar feel with welcoming staff and a vibrant atmosphere, with a jukebox and music always playing! Highly recommend!
Parking: Only about 4 spots in front of the restaurant, will likely have to park elsewhere and walk.

Enjoyed sitting outside on the deck and eating. Salad was good. There's a major fly problem! I counted at least 7. The window is full of them. They keep landing on the food and all over the table.
