Omg!!! Best food I’ve had in a while!
I door dashed this for lunch today and I might just have to order this everyday!
The empanadas were so flavorful and were amazing the the tzatziki sauce I got for my shawarma wrap, which was also amazing!
The lavender/ blueberry cheesecake was rich and bright.
The whole meal 10/10

I tried the matcha coconut milk latte and it wasn’t for me. It looked super pretty, but I think I’m just not a matcha person.

Highly recommend!!

GloBowl is always wonderful to walk into. The staff is top-notch, knowledgeable about the food, and has the patience to walk you through any questions you may have. The food is outstanding. I do not prefer Green Goddess dressing but their homemade dressing is delicious. The Buddha bowl is amazing. Lots of rice and sweet potatoes and it really fills you up. Highly recommend this place. Even if you're not on a strict diet. I just love the food and the alternative protein.

Vegetarian options: I'm pretty sure everything is vegetarian and/or vegan.

Dietary restrictions: Best options for those with any food restrictions.

Wheelchair accessibility: The door has no step so you can wheel right in.

Came across this review "shamelessy plugging" this restaurant. The cheaping out when it comes to your employees isn't really a good look.

I have been going to Glowbowl Cafe for several years as a lunch stop on road trips between DC and North Carolina. It is definitely worth the 10-min drive off the interstate into Lexington. Mostly vegan options, fantastic fresh-cooked food. Recommend the Buddha Bowl with tofu and Bombay Bowl, though there are many more dishes I’d like to try. Portions are generous.

Cute little cafe with some incredible Vegan options. We tried the chili, Vegan Shwarma and Pollo fried rice, all scrumptious and delicious.
The folks in the cafe are super friendly and sent us home with a cupcake surprise!
10/10 for service and flavor.

The food was overall average. I Enjoyed the mushroom empanadas and the taco salad. The ginger miso noodle bowl was disappointing. Nobody wanted to eat it. It tasted like way too much soy sauce and dirt. Maybe the ginger wasn’t peeled? The mushrooms seemed uncooked in the soup. They closed at 3 but only to go orders at 2:30 and they seemed to be locking the doors so may not stay open until the stated time. There was also a speed trap nearby so be careful driving there. I wouldn’t drive there again but would eat there if I was in the area.

We ordered several things to try, so glad we did, everything was damn delicious, the falafels were the best I ever had, Taco Salad also very tasty, the chili absolutely some of the best we have ever had, the traditional empanads damn I don't know how they made them so perfect! We are over the road truckers and love finding great places to eat and this one will be added to our, must go to again when in area! Thank you so much, we are delighted with your food! Thanks from Chris & Cristy the fedex truck couple!

Good, healthy, fresh food, fast! Thank you!

Fresh ingredients but food was cooked in way to much oil which upset my stomach and the food I received (tao bowl) was extremely salty. The matcha latte was very delicious though! Would probably just order a salad next time if passing through

FANTASTIC! This place doesn't perform culinary arts. Globowl is practicing culinary alchemy. With the marriage of fresh ingredients, perfect seasoning, and amazing chef skills, my taste buds were temporarily suspended in the stratosphere. I have never experienced anything like this.

The only hard part was trying to decide on one dish from the many tempting choices on the menu. Everything sounds incredible. The staff was friendly and attentive. Lauren, the owner and chef is a wonderfully interesting character. She comes from a background of international living as well as an eclectic blend of American experiences. Lexington is lucky that she decided to open her restaurant there.

I've noticed on other reviews, here and on other sites ,that people are mentioning "proteins". There are some "add ons" available that would be more aptly called sides. Most of the dishes contain protein rich ingredients. Mushrooms contain 9 amino acids making them a complete protein. Quinoa is a complete protein. Most selections have legumes of some sort. Again, these are plant proteins. Cheese has protein. I see the selections as well thought out as far as being nutritionally balanced and then created with the flavor being very important.

My wife and I had a zen bowl and we WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED! It's very rare that I eat someone else's cooking and don't find the need to add a little salt or pepper or find the dish too salty. The zen bowl was quite literally PERFECT. Can't wait to be in the area again so that we can experience another sensational selection.

If you are any where near Lexington, the food is worth the extra drive. You don't need to be a vegan, vegetarian, gluten free or have any diet restriction to appreciate the amazing creations this place is producing. Believe me, you won't be disappointed and when you're done eating, your body will thank you for the delicious nutritious experience.

Wish all of you the best at Globowl.
THANK YOU!
