Salerno Wood Fired Pizza & Taphouse

We had a family get together on Saturday. Unfortunately there were only a few of us able to attend but couldn't have ask for better service and food. Mallory was so nice and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Waitress did not check on us and we had to ask several items for items. Hardly anyone there so did not understand the poor service. Will look elsewhere when we visit our grandson at W&L.

We were in Lexington to visit the old Cemetery and stopped in for a quick bite.
Food was good service was better and you can't beat this location.

Very slow service. The crust of the wood fired pizza sampler was lacking the crispness of a wood fired crust. The hot pepper seed lid was filthy. The wings were hot and crispy.

They had a baked potato pizza (one of my favorites kinds, that I can never find). Service was great and the atmosphere was enjoyable and not noisy at all. Definitely going to make a trip back.

Good pizza, but you can’t tap pay. They said it broke a few weeks ago, but haven’t fixed it.

They have really good pizza but have lost a lot of my business due to not answering the phone for call in orders. We have gotten food elsewhere due to not being able to get through to someone.

Great service, clean bathrooms and amazing food. Really couldn't ask for much more.

$5 wood fired pizza?! Great atmosphere, speedy service, good staff. We love it there.

Our waiter did his best despite the conditions. Seating was very uncomfortable and there was no air conditioning. The food was acceptable but I will not return. Also they wanted to hold on to a credit card for a beer. Very strange.

My husband and I came here for lunch and loved it! Our server was friendly and helpful and the food was excellent! We got the drunken parm pie and it was delicious! The beer wall was so cool and perfect for a hot afternoon! Will come here again and recommend to others

Hot beer. Think its so they can charge for the foam. $12 for a 1/2 of a corona light. Turn down the beer cooler!! !!! Turn on the dining room air conditoning. We all sweated through lunch. Poor server was dripping sweat. Had to go outside to cool off and its 87 today. Asked server to turn on air she said she would turn up ceiling fans but did not happen. Pizza was good but chicken parm sandwich was not. Chopped up fried chicken that was fried yesterday and microwaved. Sad... used to be so good and inviting. No wonder no one was in there at lunch time on a Friday. We were the only table and another table did not stay because of hot beer and hot inside. . $90 for hot beer and microwaved food. 2 of us. we were at a table of 7 and all of us said.... Not again.

Good pizza, salad, pasta, and sweet tea!!

One of my favorite places in Lexington VA. I've been coming here on and off for at least 20 years. Great pizza!
