Stopped here for coffee this morning and had a less than pleasant experience. It started when the barista asked “what’s that?” after we asked for a vanilla iced coffee. The staff was overwhelmed and we were more than willing to be patient and kind as they were drowning. However, after almost 30 mins of waiting (for 2 drinks) and multiple mobile orders, still no coffee. When we asked the staff and showed them our receipt, they said “those drinks have been done” rudely. We went over to the drink station and multiple drinks were there but with no names or orders printed out. How are we supposed to know what is ours? When we sorted it out, I asked for cream to be added to my drink as they forgot. The barista was very rude and accusatory that I didn’t ask for it in the first place when we did. The whole staff clearly needs to be retrained. Skip this location.

If your machines are down; put a sign out. Constantly switching between shutting drive thru and shutting down lobby. Whether its technical issues like we can take a card in the drive thru but not in store… walk the card over to the other reader or put a sign out. At least once a week. The staff is always drowning, I’ve never seen such a turnover. I feel bad for the workers honestly, such a giant corporation- do better for real. It hasn’t run well at all since opening. Where are the higher ups?

By far the most kind, caring AND motivated staff of a Starbucks location. Within the first week of opening they grew to know who the "regulars" were and memorized their drinks. Huge A+ at Starbucks Lexington, VA.

I use this Starbucks occasionally. For the last two times I visited here (Saturday/Sunday), the register was "broken" and they could not take order at the cash register. The staff asked politely to order online. People work there appeared to be working hard and did their best to meet customer's needs. There were five staff working when I visited, but the staff was telling customers it takes 20 minutes to get our order because "there are lot of orders coming in." I see busier Starbucks in different cities and I've never waited for 20 min for my order when the store was very busy. The staff was very apologetic and cared for customers, so that's a plus! I hope they are able to find a proper support for the register issue and continue to thrive in Lexington.

ROADMAP COFFEE is right down the street and is a much better option.

First day I came in here, staff was rude to my aunt and very dismissive. Second day I came in here, they didn't even acknowledge me at the counter. All of the employees were looking at me but never said a word to me. I stood there a few minutes and finally just left and went to Dunkin. Thankfully I am out of town and will probably never have to come back to this location. Worst Starbucks I've ever been to and I've been to many all over the country.

Awful customer service . 50 minutes for a coffee is ludicrous. Telling ppl they can’t take an order they need to wait 5 then 10 then 15 minutes never actually taking the order forcing people to leave. They need Starbucks to come back with their training staff. Drive through having to pull forward since can’t complete orders from order spot to pull up. Sadly they’re ruining the Starbucks experience. They complete orders that aren’t complete trying to make ticket time better. They should just give up and shut this one down.

I gave the local Starbucks a second visit and still, I’m not impressed! Regular coffee taste is awful, even with sugar! Starbucks has to try making Cuban style coffee to be a winner! This store needs help, the furniture quality is great but the chairs are too low and hard, get some cushions!???

Terrible drinks and even worse customer service. I was on a roadtrip through here and decided to stop for an Iced Shaken Expresso. I get this drink almost weekly at other Starbucks. This drink came out so overly sweet and milky (see photo). I came in to ask if I can get it redone with less syrup and milk and I got the biggest attitude by who I assume is the manager. She was rude and dismissive. She also said she put a standard three shot in the venti expresso which is wrong. The app shows I paid for four, which is default. Staff needs to be retrained on both drinks and customer service. The other barista looked embarrassed of the barista wgo was barking but sadly, it didn’t look like a rare occurrence.

Terrible. The cream had spoiled. I just threw it away.. The staff was rude. "We don't have decaf. You can have an Americano or not". Too many sarcastic "Honey" this and " Honey" that. They have some personal hygiene issues to address...Do not recommend.

Staff were super sweet here! When I came in there were only 2 workers at the time who were super friendly and kind, even though they were understaffed. They made an effort to talk to us and made sure everything was correct and were probably the nicest baristas I've ever had. They even offered a free extra cup of cold foam to go along with our drinks and were just super nice!

The staff is fantastic. They are friendly and apologetic. Eight out of ten visits there is an issue. They are often out of a menu item, oatmilk, or venti cups. Today, I was hoping to sit and work while sipping and found the lobby closed. What is going on?

Stopped by on a quick visit to W&L.
The service here was friendly and swift, but they didn't have oleato lattes nor venti size cups. Not a big deal though.

The bathrooms and seating area both seemed clean and well stocked

Parking: There seemed to only be 2 handicap parking spaces and 2 non handicap spaces, but there's and drive through and a large lot nearby
