We got a variety of dishes to-go, and all of them were excellent. The best was the Matsumoto Chicken. Will eat here again.
I and my Japanese wife were hoping to have sushi while visiting Lexington but really didn't have high expectations. But it was GREAT!
Rice texture and "mouth feel" were very good. The agedashi tofu appetizer was well made and the tonkatsu was nearly spot-on of the same dish in Japan.
Having lived in Japan for 2 years, I can properly tell you that Sushi Matsumoto is an excellent place!
My wife and I frequent your restaurant quite often and absolutely love being able to get away from our own restaurant to enjoy yours.
We were able to get away yesterday evening for my birthday and the anniversary of our first date (which was sushi).
Wanted to let you know that our experience was the best we have ever had while coming to your establishment. It’s always good but last night was amazing.
